This newscast is wrong -- he was not on PCP or meth. No drugs or alcohol were found in his system during his autopsy.

He had been in a motorcycle accident the year prior to his death, and began spiraling out of control after the accident -- punching people without provocation, walking into the ocean fully clothed until he developed hypothermia, trying to burglarize a house, repeatedly banging his head against walls, and beating a woman.

He probably had a Traumatic Brain Injury from the motorcycle accident, which caused the violent outbursts. However, he staunchly refused to be evaluated for a head injury. His father repeatedly urged him to seek medical treatment and scheduled at least two MRI appointments for him, which he missed.

He clearly wasn't in his right mind the last year of his life. Even his appearance noticeably deteriorated, to the point where he was described as looking like a homeless person. It's a tragic story all the way around.

There was no drugs found in his system, they did a toxicology on his body and nothing came up, he had an accident that caused a severe head injury which completely changed his personality into a violent almost like schizophrenia, it’s a tragic unfortunate event but it truly was not in his control….they didn’t give him the proper medical attention after his accident then maybe none of this would have happened

They failed to mention that the 81 year old landlady was a very nice lady who helped him in many ways. A vibrant 81 year old well connected lady who has no enemies and wasnt just a 81 year old landlady.
