I have and LOOOVE this camera... I am a film Maker actress and Vlogger here on YT do you guys sponsor at all... TY in advanced!
Ответитьgreat bang for buck
Ответитьlove this camera
ОтветитьI love almost everything about this camera, I own one, HOWEVER, there is a really annoying problem that seems to be on every t3i, it's the mic input. Whenever I plug in my microphone (bought at B&H), the camera automatically adds a hissing noise, without me being able to remove it, making audio unusable. It has nothing to do with the microphone, but the Audio Gain Control in the camera... or so I'm told. Anyway, great review and hopefully we get a software update to fix this!
Ответить@Josetattoo123 The regular price of the kit is $849 and currently Canon is offering a $50 instant rebate (valid through 3/31/2012) bringing the final price down to $799. CAEDRT3IK <-- <-- <-- Copy and Paste this code into the search on top left corner of our website to view the item.
ОтветитьYou forgot to mention the built in wireless flash capability.
ОтветитьI want a camera for filming action sports and taking pictures. I want my camera to have good resolution and good fps for both filming and taking pictures. I need the camera to be able to perform well in in all conditions, (low light, night, etc). Also auto-focus is huge for me because i love to follow cam when im filming . I was looking at the Canon t3i, Canon 60d, and the Sony a65. Which would you guys recommend for my purpose. Thankyou, 32 Degrees Productions
Ответить@32DegreesProductions The two Canon models you mentioned are both great cameras, however they will not autofocus whilst recording video, focus is manual only. The Sony A65 would autofocus during video recordings, as would the Nikon D5100 and the new D3200 which would be what I would recommend to you for your applications. Both are fully featured and the new D3200 has a huge pixel count and performs very well in low light situations.
Ответить@Ipad2Adventures We do indeed have a Canon Rebel T4i review in process. If you subscribe to our channel, you'll know the moment we post the video. Thanks for watching.
ОтветитьWhy aren't LCD's on cameras given in pixels?
ОтветитьThe Canon T3i won't autofocus? I'm pretty sure you guys said it did in this video around 2:14.
Ответить@dimmddr1 In photography pixels refer to the pixels on the sensor that gather and interpret the light values and convert it into a photo. Pixels are also used in reference to LCD screens as well. In order to avoid confusion between the two, camera sensors are rated by megapixels and the lcd screens are rated by the number of dots on the screen. Thanks, Matt C.
ОтветитьDot = Subpixel, right?
Ответить@dimmddr1 In the above comment, dot = pixel.
ОтветитьThat doesn't make sense if the 600D has 1040000 dots with an aspect ratio of 3:2. If dot = pixel, therefore the resolution = ~1249-by-~833 pixels. If dot = subpixel, therefore the resolution = ~721-by-~481 pixels. The resolution is likely 720-by-480 pixels. Pixel = 3(Subpixel).
Ответить@dimmddr1 Canon USA's website under the Canon Rebel T3i Specifications tab, under LCD Monitor, under Monitor size, states 2.7-inch (Screen aspect ratio of 4:3), and under Pixels, it states Approx 230,000 dots. Canon states under PIXELS that they have approximately 230,000 dots, indicating they consider dots as pixels. However, if you need a conversation concerning pixels vs. dots via Canon's nomenclature, I would recommend contacting Canon Technical Support for assistance with your inquiry.
ОтветитьI imagine that the larger numbers are great for marketing.
Ответитьthat is not why they use the term "dots". they use it to sucker people into thinking their lcds have 3X the resolution they actually have. 1 dot = 1 red, green or blue subpixel.
Ответитьusing dots under pixels does not mean that they consider dots to be pixels. in fact, they use dots because if they tried to claim the lcd has 230,000 pixels, they'd be in serious legal trouble.
Ответить@Simon Jönsson In the Sound Recording menu under Movie Tab. Set Sound Rec. to [MANUAL] to manually set gain.
ОтветитьMore importantly, how is it any different from the T3 apart from the tilty screen?
Ответить@ivh007 The T3i has a tiltable screen, external mic, higher FPS of 3.7, bigger, 3.2', higher rez screen, it supports 24P and does so in 1980 vs 720.
Ответитьand the t3i feels better. I compared both at my local bb
Ответить@0180917 The T3I is a good option for entry level filmmaking. The sensor and lens options give a very high video quality. Being that it is an HDSLR you will also be able to achieve a shallow depth of field which is desirable for filmmaking.
Ответить@0180917 The battery life of the camera is good. If your question is about its battery not lasting long during video recording, the issue is not the battery, but the design of the sensor. Due to the limitation of sensor technology currently used in DSLRs, when recording video are all limited to how long a single recording clip can be, most top out at 4gb. The Rebel T3i at the highest resolution cannot record video longer than 11 mins. straight or 4gb. - Yossi O.
ОтветитьGood info.
Ответить(My first camera) I want high quality pictures for typical life photography + nature shots(birds, animals, landscapes,) and I have a home music studio so I wanted good footage for music videos as well as amateur filmaking with other novice filmakers. Point and shoots won't do. I was gonna go with the Nikon7100, but apparently cannon does good video? does the T5i still cap out at 11min? Can I hook up my baby blue bottle mic to it? feel free to message me if you want.
ОтветитьBoth Nikon and Canon have good video options that capture video at 1080p HD resolution. The D7100 happens to be a great option to go with as is the T3i. The D7100 would allow you to autofocus when recording video, the T3i not. Your Baby Bottle mic is not compatible with DSLRs, but if you're recording your audio/music in your home music studio, you could always sync it to your music videos later in post production, and thereby use the mic you have. - Yossi
Ответитьis it good to use canon 600d +canon 100-400mm f/4.5.5.6??? can I still get nice shot means clear images??
ОтветитьThank you for watching. Should you come for a visit, we will look forward to greeting you personally.
ОтветитьHi, there's a graphical Correction appended to 2:15 within the video while Larry's is making the incorrect statement. We apologize if that was not clear enough. There is no video auto-focus with the T3i. Thanks for watching.
Ответитьi hear that they are coming out with TI5
so soon really
so this camera would be good for filmmaking
ОтветитьI just ordered this as my first dslr. Im so excited!
ОтветитьLarry, your instructional videos and camera reviews are my MOST FAVORITE thing about being a B&H customer. Your explanations of technical things are easy to understand - even for old men! ;-) Thanks so much! Fred
Ответитьbought it for $50 with 2 lenses standard and tamron 17-50/2.8 also 2 batteries and flash cable . very good camera but after 3-4 month die /o any reason. just no power. google say very common microswithes problem but i'm not tech guy. all palace when i found in NYC include Canon ask me for $249+tax!!!!! . that IMHO much more that just new body cost/ so i decide do not repair unless i do not find someone normal. but it just show that you need no pay more for used camera on market. as i understood all canons except 1d.5d and7d have same problem.i believe that it intentionally made by canon. so did i will buy new even for sale price (2 zoom bag kit $400)-definitely no. do i pay more than $50 for kit from 10mp and higher? sure not. but if i find again for normal price why not.
ОтветитьThis is how a review should be done.
ОтветитьHi how do u photos from the canon T3i camera to laptop?
