If you watch the Alzheimer's one closely, you can see that her memory fails her as soon as she walks into the house. That's a real phenomenon where your thoughts are kind of tied to the room you were in when you had the thought, and you forget it as soon as you walk through a door.
That's often why people will walk into a room and suddenly think "Wait, why did I come in here again?"
