If I double the rate of solution will it lasts longer ?
ОтветитьThanks for posting this. I suppose there is no easy way to the trench method underneath the driveway/entrance under concrete. Drill then pour? Seems like one could almost dig a tunnel trench underneath, although that might take long.
Ответитьwe called a company for treatment they charge 2,500 to treat and that's with a discount.
The cheapest we have found is 1,500 to treat. we haven't hired anyone.
How much does the treatment cost?
please send me the website to order the treatment
thank you for your video..
thumbs up
ОтветитьHi I live in Georgia, would it hurt if I do a little stronger mixture? My house is brand new, but there a lot construction going on around. Also, I plan to use baits. There is a local company that uses a 4000psi pump to do pump the liquid into the ground.
ОтветитьYou are a beast!!! Thanks for the helpful information :)
ОтветитьWow his Japanese Hollys look super nice and healthy!
ОтветитьA lot of the information in the video is against the LABEL thus making it against the law. The label is the law and doing EXACTLY what this video says to do will result in over treat, contaminating the soil around the home. That makes YOU liable for any damages to the environment. THIS is exactly why you should just let professionals do it. This isn't like changing your cars oil or changing a light bulb. Whats worse? Spending a couple hundred extra dollars or risk a couples THOUSAND in fines and possible jail time? I'll let you decide
ОтветитьWhat do i do if i suspect the termites are inside my roof, how do you treat it ?
ОтветитьHow many 20oz bottles did you use for your house
ОтветитьIt would have been better to see the whole process
ОтветитьCan you use Termidor on the inside of the house? If not what would you suggest?
ОтветитьCan you do this like one side a day? Or do you have to do it all in one day..thanks🙂
ОтветитьTight wads 🤣🤣
ОтветитьUgh I have termites .where they want to treat I have a garden ...but then I have cement ....
$1092 to treat
I have the tunnels inside basement crawl space
One tunnel is the length of wall
Last night I moved alllll the junk my mother had saved ...off wood palates
and I saw live termites as the palate lost a part of itself ....
The pest control guy said he thinks they were feeding off wood palates
What do you do with tunnels ...scrape off wall and discard ?
Nightmare
I want to treat myself but ........
I have performed this technique using the Taurus product. To help augment the termaticide getting to the right places on deeper areas and where you have basements, I used a piece of rebar with a rotary hammer drill and a fence puller to ensure it was reaching the right places. I came out 6 inches with the trench and every 12 inches I put in the rebar to create vertical holes for the solution to channel. It is laborious, I did it in a weekend, but saved a lot of money. It works. I did not know it lasted 10 years. I thought more along the lines of 4. In my garage on the slab, I did drill in the slab the holes and when around with a sprayer of termatacide and filled them. I leave them open and still have yet to see any bugs coming in. You can use a quick patch compound to cover them, but I left them open for ease of access. Seems to work great.
ОтветитьAmazing thank you
ОтветитьWhy not make sure that you are truly saved by Jesus Christ and practice this way. Remorsefully confess with your heart your sins to Jesus Christ who is God and tell Him that you right now are repenting of your sins and you want to be born again of the Spirit from above. Tell Jesus that you are remorsefully sorry for breaking His commandments and that you are begging for forgiveness from Him. Allow His blood from the cross to wash away your sins. After this is done with your heart successfully the Holy Spirit will come to live within you and He will rebuild you from the inside out.
Look for signs that you are saved. Things like spreading the good news from Jesus, getting other people saved, a craving for the word of God, reading the Bible, etc… These things are known as a calling and fruit bearing. If you're not bearing fruit then keep doing it. Sometimes it takes time to get saved. Read Matthew chapter 13 from the King James Bible. God bless!!!
What if there is a garden with gravel adjoins the front of house. How will they do that? Do they have to dig up the garden gravel path area?
ОтветитьTHANKS.,,, ONELOVE.
ОтветитьGreat video. Simple instructions and easy to follow. Couldn’t you also drill down into the dirt just like slab treatment? This would reduce the necessary labour of digging a trench.
ОтветитьThanks for the video, how does this chemical last for so long up to 10 years? Won't weather such as rain affect the chemical?
ОтветитьI'm a AC Tech by trade and this doesn't appear to be that difficult. Like you said a couple hours work. Its worth it vs the cost to pay someone. Thanks for the Video. I will be doing the exact same at my house.
ОтветитьThat’s too much stuff and steps to do👎🏾
ОтветитьYou’re so awesome! You saved my mom a ton of money!!! God bless you for sharing!!!
Ответитьsheesh ounces and gallons ???
ОтветитьIs it safe to use this stuff around your gas meter?
ОтветитьWill this kill existing termite fast ? What if I creat that barrier but the termite is outside the house permitted a gate 5 feet away for example ?
ОтветитьWhat is effectiveness of premise 30.5 % sc.
ОтветитьAnyone know if its possible to do this treatment on a pier and beam foundation home? If not, what other DIY do I have, only bait stations?
ОтветитьAfter you applied the treatment, did it affect your plants or harm your plants in anyway after a couple months?
ОтветитьWill it kill termites that are already in the home?
ОтветитьEverything was accurate except for one thing. Spraying the backfill after you close the trench back up would be considered free spraying, which is against label
ОтветитьQuestion. I applied today around 6pm and it is forecasted to rain tomorrow at 10am... will my application be ineffective?
ОтветитьI wanted to see you dig the trench to see how you managed the backfill and how you set it aside for easy put back.
I already have a termite colony I side my home so I am going to put it extra solution! Twice as much!
How long do you wait until you put the backfill back in?
What kind of licensing do I need to treat someone else’s home for termites? I don’t want to be receiving any bad phone calls from the epa. Very informative video!
ОтветитьWhat about if you have a mobile home...would trenching perimeter be pointless since they are probably directly under the home or would it still be beneficial because they still would be going outside that radius?
ОтветитьThanks for the video! I had a large quote for a company to treat termites. Not live but had old termite stud in a bathroom remodel. same process you are doing but they also said in raised foundation with a crawl space they would spray Termidor there too. Did you treat underneath the home or is trench only area?
ОтветитьThank you for this video!
ОтветитьWhy not just use your hedge trimmers and trim the shrubbery in the back to give you a 6 inch clearance which is good for the shrubbery anyway
ОтветитьTrimming is what is called to get more room
Nice video about to do the same
But termites doesn’t come flying?
ОтветитьThank you so much for this video. I have active termites, the subterranean ones. I have a pest control now who are using the bait things even though I have a infestation now. I'm 73 and and would like to do it myself. Wish me luck.
ОтветитьCan you do this every 5 years to be on the safe side or will the chemical be less affective if there's too much?
ОтветитьPlease come and do mine? LOL
Someone is suppose to be doing termite treatment for my home and he is using "Taurus SC" around the perimeter of my home, not drilling the garage. This is what is proposed and is this good enough for a 3300 sq ft home? "Termite Treatment - Exterior & Crawl spaceTermite Treatment using Taurus SC- Trench and Treatment interior and exterior of crawlspace- Garage, front porch, and the walkway along the back of the house will be waived- Retreat warranty for $150 per year for the next five years" The other termite service using Termidor HE will do this:"
The formula works out to a mere four gallons per ten feet and yet all the termite wonks insist you need to trench. The opposing termite wonks say the backfill is not treated, and is therefore a bridge over your treated area. I suggest a different solution. I am not a pro that has to treat and move on, saving money by moving fast. I do not intend to move fast, I mix my 0.8 mixture and pour the solution over the foundation at the rate that it will absorb it where it is poured. That might take you a bit longer but, hey, it is going to soak down through the soil and it beats the hell out of trenching. Example: Average internet guru says trench the 80 feet along the back of your house and apply four gallons every ten feet. Ok, great. What if I instead mix eight four gallon batches and spread the fluid across the 80 feet eight times, letting it soak in? I GET THE SAME COVERAGE, AND AVOID ALL THAT DIGGING BECAUSE i AM PATIENT. Go ahead haters, if I pour it at a rate the soil can take it, tell me how I didn't get it right. Bottom line: If it is added to the soil at a rate the soil can absorb, you needn't trench, but if it bunches up and runs off, it won't penetrate as deeply. PS: Some soils have hard clays and the liquid could move laterally below the soil. Just hit it every four inches with a digging bar and go at it, it's not rocket sceince.
ОтветитьI just had to rebuild the whole front of my house because of termite damage left behind from previous owners. I knew I was taking a risk in buying the home so no fraud here. Spent 4 months on garage door header wall, two bedrooms and the half bath and put up new siding. Used PT lumber and treated with Bora Care. Had barrier put in back in 21, now time to do it myself. Back of house needs to be done 17' of kitchen wall to outside with plumbing, elections natural gas lines all going through the load bearing wall. Will be a challenge as will be on generator and battery power while work is done.
ОтветитьAlready have the holes drilled in concrete from pest control need to run 18' masonry bit just to open the hole up to put in the chemical.
