Last case, Valentich wasn't an Instructor Pilot. He passed his IR, and he could only fly nights but under VMC, not IMC (visual only, not under instrument meteorological conditions) like into the clouds for example. He wasn't that good of an aviator. He failed his ground subjects, 5 commercial subjects failed twice..but the government said he was disoriented and he was obssessed with the Aliens and abductions and whatnot, he was probably even flying upside down at that point.

Lie detector machine is a device that shows your a live & it is the pro-fess-sion-al in-tare-a-gate-tor that does the detecting & is only as good as they have been trained by who ever.

I think something that should be addressed in the Valentich case is that if the UFO was above him, and depending on how the Cessna was built, he would have leaned forward to try to see the UFO. The Cessna (based on a flight simulator I did in a similar aircraft) had a control yolk where if you push down, the nose pitches down. I experimented by leaning forward, pretending to try to see a UFO, and the nose of the plane pitched down, because I leaned forward while holding the controls, very likely what Valentich would have done.

And if he was inexperienced, accompanied by the fact that 1. Visibility may have been "good" but certain altitudes don't guarantee that every time, and 2. He should not have been distracted flying at the altitude he was going at. He was too busy trying to see a UFO rather than trying to fly the plane, which probably resulted in him losing control of the plane and trying to pitch the nose back up. The "metal scraping" that was heard may have been him trying to forcefully bring the nose back up. The silence may have been concentration on trying to raise the nose as well.

So, I just feel this stuff needed to be mentioned because that was not mentioned here.

I think that the reason why aliens abduct humans is to make them do the cleaning of their spaceships. For instance, have you noticed that in all movies and TV series about space and aliens the interior of the spacecrafts always look perfectly shiny and immaculately clean but on the other hand, WE NEVER SEE WHEN THE CLEANING BEING DONE OR WHO DOES IT. So, if we think from a purely practical and economical POV, why would any intelligent civilization make its own spaceship crews do the cleaning of their crafts when they only have to kidnap some humans, drug them and then hand them a bucket with soapy water and a broom, and there they go.
