Watching this in 144p gives you the true experience.
ОтветитьI do a lot of macro, so enjoyed this video very much! Very informative. It never occurred to me to use my rail handheld or on my tripod when out shooting. Duh! I'm going out in a little bit, so will take it.
Ответитьhmm I wonder what happen if we put 1200mm of extension tube between the camera and a 600mm lens.... lol Extreme 1:1 macro at super long distance?
ОтветитьWondering what tripod that is? Looking for something just like it.
ОтветитьYou need to do more video like this
ОтветитьHave you checked the Fuji 80mm Macro?
ОтветитьWhat is the brand/model of the tripod you use to shoot the flowers.
ОтветитьDoctor slapped the wrong end
Ответитьgreat tutorial. thanks.
Ответитьthose are bumblebees, NOT honeybees.
ОтветитьThese photos in the video are absolutely attrocious.
ОтветитьDude... this was killer!! You very super informative and easy to follow! Please keep it up brother! Need more like this! 👍🏻
ОтветитьHaving such high ISO and 1/200+ sec shutter speed? With a stationary subject? What is that about, unless you like noise, or the effect of producing noise only to remove it in post, ie, a softer image. Get. Your shutter speed down to to suit your aperture, something you can hand hold and keep your ISO as low as possible. Better yet, stabilize your subject, (wait for a windless day) and use a tri-pod.
If your gonna teach folk, aim for the best ways not one that will work, but won’t produce an image as good as could be.
Please anybody knows what is the name of that tripod o its moving head ?
Ответитьdo you that sony 90m28g can be good even for dentistry photography?
ОтветитьYou have to slow down a little bit... :)
ОтветитьGreat video
ОтветитьI love this video!
ОтветитьSo..... how about using extension tubes?
ОтветитьAwesome video. Rock on.
ОтветитьWhich Rail were you using/ they range from $20 to $350 (US)
ОтветитьExcellent tutorial
ОтветитьWhy spend so much money into your camera gears use to show up how rich you are?
ОтветитьAnother talking too much!
ОтветитьThis video may have been about Marco photography, but it also does an excellent job of teaching a host of other photography concepts in a nice understandable way!
ОтветитьSo helpful
ОтветитьWhat about the macro ring flashes?
ОтветитьMirror slap??
Might have been referring to vibration caused by the front shutter curtain slamming down open... Although that very rarely causes any noticeable impact on the image quality
If your doing macro.. you... need.... a..... flash!
ОтветитьNikkor 200-500 VR is quite good for macro.
ОтветитьNice.
ОтветитьChris Nickolls seems to be a bit of an idiot when it comes to bumblebees. You dont have to keep your distance because otherwise you might be stung. Bumblebees dont sting unless you grab them with your hand and try to squeeze them.
So, dont BS people!
all these photographs are normal photo they not close to macro, telescopic lens can't take macro shots
ОтветитьDoesn't aperture dictate dof?
ОтветитьThank you for this wonderfully informative video!
ОтветитьCould you add links to the tripod and attachments you used in this video? I am having a hard time finding a quality tripod with low to ground features.
ОтветитьHlo dude even i havecamera sony a6300 i have a doubt that fe 90mm f2.8 macro g oss after clicking pictures from sony a6300 does it crop a bit..? Why i am asking this because both the camera and lens sensors are different plzz reply as soon as possible
Love from India 🇮🇳🇮🇳
Thank you, very helpful.
ОтветитьWith a camera
ОтветитьBest lenses for macro photography are the Canon EF 180mm f/3.5 L of 1996 and the AF-MICRO NIKKOR 200mm f/4 AF-D of 1993.
The offer 1:1 macro.
They are old. However they are sharp an unique. The 180mm and 200mm is very useful focal length to work safely and conveniently at a distance.
The Nikon 200mm f/4 AF-D Macro can be still in 2020 be bought new.
wow i enjoy ur video.. God bless you
ОтветитьThe worst macro enemy: wind. It's hopeless when shooting macro and everything moves constantly. And by the way… macro is 1:1 or more. Less magnification is a close-up.
ОтветитьYour video is useful but you talked too fast. Please talked a bit slower for non-English speaking photograph lovers. Than you. Looking forward to some more of your videos of the same kind.
ОтветитьYou talk too fast and say nothing useful. Not a single good image produced. Zero talent ... and basically a tutorial on how to do everything WRONG.
My annoyance with watching NON-macro shooters "discuss macro" is part of the reason I am resurrecting my old channel.
most of those are not macro photo's. I can get the same shots with my 100-400mm
ОтветитьLove the macro 100mm on the EOS 650 towards the end
Ответитьwhich extension tube did u use?
ОтветитьGreat video. I learned a lot about this lens which I have. I wish you would have talked a little bit about using the autofocus features.
ОтветитьThank you-very informative. What are the cons of macro using a DSLR, if any at all?
Ответить
