Back in the days when he was a boy, people would not have laughed at anyone for working in a factory - particularly as a toolmaker was one of the highly skilled occupations for the generation that came back from WW2. This doesn't surprise me at all; It makes complete sense to me that all those people that voted for brexit, and to control our borders etc, would migrate to Reform.
