I have some shirts I deliberately bought big online because I wasn’t sure of their sizing. Now I need to de-size(?) them. This arrived just in time.
ОтветитьVery nice! For years I've always just been my wife's sewing machine mechanic and never really learned how to make stuff. Then, when I retired a few years ago, I started making quilts for friends and family using vintage Treadle sewing machines. I just really enjoy the machinery. I do enjoy these how-to videos, even though most are well beyond my skill level, but now I can converse with my wife on her level lol. Thanks Anastasia!
ОтветитьGreat video! I've always wanted to know how to fo this correctly.
ОтветитьThank you
ОтветитьCan this technique be used for taking in tee shirts?
ОтветитьI hope you'd create this video! I lost some weight and need to take in some favorite shirts and light-knit sweaters. Thank you!
ОтветитьThe shirt looks great! I think, though, that the long shoulder seam would bother me if I were wearing it; I'm just so used to the sleeve starting right at my shoulder. Taking the sleeve out, recutting the opening, and setting it back in again would be a lot more work.
ОтветитьI have a favorite plaid men’s shirt that only ever looks good completely unbuttoned as a layer-jacket thing in the fall, always wanted to make it look less boxy while buttoned. This will do exactly that! Thanks Anastasia
ОтветитьCould you use this method on a jumper?
ОтветитьThis is very timely ! I have a beautiful blouse here that is just too big and I've been trying to decide the best way to alter it, you must have read my mind ...lol
ОтветитьI lost a lot of weight this will help me out
ОтветитьGreat video!
ОтветитьI’m so glad I found this video! I’ve listened to about 100 lbs in the past 3 years and my favorite shirt is way too big on me. I was going to donate it, but now I’m going to alter it. Thank you!!!
ОтветитьIs that white marking pen on your purchase site?
ОтветитьExcellent!! Thank you so much.
ОтветитьIf you put it on inside out, you can pin & sew it without too much marking up
ОтветитьI’m confused… I don’t understand Why you didn’t do it inside out to begin with.
Ответитьi always wanted to know how to do this! thank you!
ОтветитьHey Anastasia, thank you for your awesome videos. I swear I saw you somewhere before. Were you ever a contestant in Project Runway?
ОтветитьI need to learn how to make my flannels a liiiittle bigger. Hopefully i'll se that on ur channel. Thanks for the tuto. Love ur t-shirt by the way :)
