This video gives me sense of nostalgia, when I visited few of the Charles Correa buildings such as Sabarmati Ashram, Jawahar Kala Kendra, kanchanjunga apartment. I also felt that his architecture is The Perfect Blend of ancient and modern architecture which goes hand in hand to give an amalgamate output. And the highlighted part of his buildings are mostly the open to Sky spaces. His buildings are amazing 🏩and he is a legend Architect 👏 🙏🏻💐❤️
GREAT VIDEO BLESSED ARCH 😇

Barring a few projects most of his projects are in shambles it’s a shame that we don’t know how to Respect architecture in India

He was not only India's greatest architect; rather I would say he belongs to the league of great masters of world architecture. Love from Bangldesh.

I have a Charles Correa story. Indore is my hometown. In 2008 I went to Bhopal for a trip. I visited Bharat Bhavan. That building moved me from inside. Something happened. After a brief conversation with a person I got to know that this building was built by an architecture called Charles Correa. After that I read everything about him. Then I read whatever he wrote. I was falling in love with architecture.

Because I was a PCB student and by the time I realised this I was already 22, so I couldn't pursue this field. But I understood one thing that architecture is one art that nobody appreciates it like other fine arts. It's so beautiful and complex. It's the most important art form because we live inside it.

Our social life depends on it and it has the ability to change how we live, how we think and how we behave. Since that day till now I read about architecture as a subject. And I am eternally thankful to Charles Correo for that.

I recieved the news of Charles's death on my class group while we were drinking at JS hall hostel, Churchgate which was designed by him. I was in 5th yr at the time.
we actually paid a tribute to him and spent sometime roaming around and adoring what he did with the design of that hostel.

It was in 2003on a bus wandering around in Mumbai when I learned his quote "great city, terrible place" for the first time. Though I don't like his monumental architecture. marvels that mainly resemble the grandeur of ancient indian temples but I am deeply moved with his housing projects that liberate people from their classes and create beauties to enjoy from humble material... ❤❤❤

Modern ind architecture is bland n out of space, feels nothing indian about it rather in classical era we had sculpture floral fauna local context as the center point, but respect his contribution
