making assumptions on the ultimate morals GRRM wants by the end of this EPIC, i really like the way the wall can symbolically represent the need to keep promises (the ultimate moral in the story as silly as it may seem). It begins straight and easy to construct, like many plans in TWOIAF. Instead of giving up or compromising the wall which he claimed he would build (maybe not to anyone-more like a personal promise B/C he knew it was needed) once it became more challenging, he, with the help of many races of beings, was able to complete the wall. So like even though it may not be a perfectly straight wall it is still a wall-to equate to even though it might hurt to keep this promise right now the "kingdom" will be better if you keep it-or maybe the wall will fall and its imperfection will represent a promise unkept-GRRM is damn good at creating literature and symbols that stimulate our minds own creative propensities.
Ответитьgeorge rr martin has said characters like bran the builder lann the clever garth greenhand were all real people in westeros at one point an time and that some of them would have lived during the same time period
Ответитьgot my tinfoil hat ready!!!
ОтветитьI especially like the Maester Spoiler Inserts!
ОтветитьThis makes me think that perhaps Bran in the GoT series will end up building something that staves off the next long night and resumes the balance required for both the living and the white walkers to live....until....history repeats itself.
ОтветитьNames his son bran?Starks need to come up with new names for their children.Too many Brandon,Benjen,Rickard
ОтветитьI think hedidn't build the hightower but the others prehaps
ОтветитьI am so impressed with your history and theory videos! Keep it up and your walking dead videos!
Ответитьim more curious about Bran the burner. are they the same person ? its been a while since I read the books but I don't think so.
ОтветитьWhile we're talking of tin foil hats, since I see you did this video on my birthday, I'll throw one in. Bran the Builder isn't the one who built the Wall, in fact it wasn't even that side which built it. The Others built it, the Night's King and the White Walkers to keep the Andals out of their lands where they'd need to sleep for those thousands of years. Since the Andals were defeated by it, they claimed it was one of their greats who built it to avoid the shame of losing.
ОтветитьI think that bran that's with the blood raven will become bran the builder
ОтветитьBran the Builder is the damn bran for this days in GOT he come back and help all the kings of the north to prepare for the invasion of the white walkers since he probably try to come back and talk with the childrens to not create the white walkers but probably this dont work since if the white walkers dont exist the history will change a lot.
ОтветитьBran Stark could possibly be Bran The Builder. Traveling from the future helping the children of the forest. GOT could be in a time loop.
ОтветитьI think that Bran the builder is is actually present Bran who went back in the past to build the wall and protect Westeroes from the white walkers.
ОтветитьIt is possible that Bran, is Bran the Builder.
ОтветитьBran Stark is Bran the builder. Bran went back in time and built the wall, he did all the things Bran the builder did. Bran is possibly the most important person in GOT.
Ответитьfucking maesters...
ОтветитьBran the Builder reminds me a lot of King Arthur; a mythical or semi-mythical king of the 'first men' of his land that is probably actually a composite of several closely related historical figures. It would make sense for the Starks to be good architects in their early years after all, their lands would be the hardest to hold and the easiest to occupy guerrilla style so getting into a dynastic habit of really knowing your timber and stones is only prudent. The first Bran might well have been the founder of house Stark and build both Storm's End and The Wall. On the back of that and their own castles and towers the Starks then get a reputation as fortification experts, so later on shaky foreign record keeping remembers several men only as the 'great Builder of house Stark' down generations, conflating them all into one mythical King.
That's my snap theory at least, based partly on real world myth trends and GRRM's penchant for mirroring British history in the series.
Is bran stark bran the builder?
ОтветитьWhen bran goes south of the wall, it will crumble.
The wall was built by Bran and will be destroyed by Bran.
Donald Trump imma let you finish but Bran the Builder built the greatest wall of ALL TIME
Ответитьthere is only one legendary builder,BOB THE BUILDER
ОтветитьIts Bran (book/show Bran) with his green sight moving through time making sure "the wheel" keeps spinning
ОтветитьThank you so much for making these videos, I absolutely love listening to them while I work and waiting for season 8. I wish you all the best in everything you do, you deserve all the best things💚👊💚
ОтветитьLegends are stories that have a grain of truth!
ОтветитьIt doesn’t really make sense to me that this one Brandon lived long enough to do all these things. Like how could he help in the contruction of Storms End (age of heroes) survive the Long Night (which lasted a generation, it is said), build a massive wall of ice afterwards, build winterfell (one of the better castles in Westeros) AND build the hightower of Oldtown? He’d have to be a thousand years old
ОтветитьOkay, I can't be the only one who sings his name to the tune of the "Bob the Builder", right?
Ответитьbran is bran and doesnt "exist". once he learned time travel i believe he goes back so far he relives as brans/brandons of past and builds structures from memory gathered in time travel or "present" day creating the paradox loop
ОтветитьCan we fix it?
ОтветитьYeah I'm pretty sure Bran the builder did not exist
Ответитьargues the existence of a fictional character within a fictional world
ОтветитьWho's here after season 8 episode 6????
ОтветитьBran the Builder!!!
Can we fix it?
Bran the Builder!!!
Yes, we can!!!
Bran the builder
Can he built it?
Bran the builder
Yes he can
who gives a shit talk acting like these people lived
ОтветитьI think Bran the builder is a series of at least three generation. Father, son, grandson.
ОтветитьHere is a tinfoil theory for ya, Bran the current is the same as all the Bran's of legend.
ОтветитьI’d love to hear more about bran the builder he’s a brilliant character
ОтветитьBran the builder!: Can we fix it?
Bran the builder : Yes we can!
If all of these powerful families have legends of him ,he must have at the least been a very real and brilliant man.
ОтветитьBran built high tower for house of the reach, storms and for the storm kings, the wall but couldn't build a decent house for him self.
ОтветитьBran the Builder
Can we build it?
Bran the builder
Yes we can!
Has nobody noticed that Westeros has like 6,000 years of modern humans yet still live in a Feudal era?
ОтветитьWas bran the builder a cripple?
ОтветитьBran was actually the 3 eyed Raven. Think about it. Truly. If I wrote fanfiction, I'd explain it
ОтветитьStorms End, inspired by Swamp Castle from Monty Python.
Ответить"as has been done before"? Eait a sec Brandon was not the first person to ask children for help against the Others?
ОтветитьHeh "I like giving not recieving"
ОтветитьHe builds , wargs , green seeing and was a king. This guy is the real deal
Ответить
