Great video. I do believe kittanning is changing for the better. I am glad to be here to witness it. :)

Andrew I believe one of our problems deals with the 3 commissioners we have. We need forward thinkers who can bring new ideas to this area. The three we have now are just caretakers and bring nothing as far as business growth. If the county has economic development individuals on the payroll who are they and what exactly have the done for the county? We have seen this before every election for the commissioners position, they promise the world but produce nothing. In a normal work environment we all have to do our job, produce results or we are let go but that does not apply to these people. We are then stuck with them until we elect a new bunch with more grand promises of how they are going to turn everything around lol. I wish the LT or the KP would investigate exactly who are these people, what do we pay them and results have the shown. I would also like to hear what plan the commissioners have for the county and how is it progressing? If we had the economic development then this county would turn around. I do not want to sound like a politician but it is a trickle down effect, jobs bring income then stores open when their is demand and the tax base improves. It's not going to happen overnight but if it happens in other small towns then why not Kittanning or Ford City? Armstrong county has three assets that other towns do not have, our recreational river system, the rail to trails and our beautiful park. Why is the county and our state legislators nor working with the rails to trails to improve it and make it a destination trip? The rails to trails could be hiking or biking with camping along side of it.

I love all the community days the city has for people. Light up night. Festivals movies in the park. Concerts other towns don't do nothing for it's community its like every week somethings going on
Especially in the spring and summer it brings everyone together

This city sucks dude. Moved here from another state and I moved from a shitty place and compared to there.... the slums of Detroit shine compared to this place.... sad but true
