Watch as Ivan Mendez, Angelina's LA guitarist reacts to her voice, he is blown away by her storytelling vocals, and was working with her very often. This is a classic example of the fact that no matter how many times one has experienced AJ performances she has the ability to hypnotize you with those storytelling vocals.

First off I want to say I love everything about angelina, but I have come accross Lucy Thomas, maybe check her out like hallelujah or the greatest love of all you may be surpised

This is real quality stuff, Alan. Your channel, here, and then the content you and Pontus create together are not only a very special treat for us but it is also a huge help in understanding what we are experiencing. Very thought-provoking Alan. Her ability to induce the emotions she wants you to experience seems almost absolute, and becomes quickly apparent even to the earliest listeners. She has learned to induce emotions in another way in the last year and a half or so and that is by her expressions. It is is especially true on her Instagram posts.

What I took out of this video is that artists do their thing... and that is fine... what I did not expect is that a Michael Jackson performance is not as good as it should have been... what I see and listen to, is that the MJ version was a version about him.. all about him... the AJ version was all about the message and the story of the song ❤️ That was actually crazy to see and hear because MJ is a legend ❤️

It's hard to believe a singer is this good. Her skills, and knack for choosing and making the best sounds is astounding.
Her voice is what people want a singer to sound like. In every way. She is a fantasy singer who is real.

If you believe that God penetrates the psyche of certain individuals, so that they
can bring forth to the public his message of doing something for the less fortunate whenever possible, I believe this was best represented by the life's work of Mother
Teresa, for I can't think of anyone who matches her dedication to the cause. I can
remember meeting a nun who served under 'Mother' and was told that specific
words attributed by her to the nuns that served under her, was s simple statement
that said, 'God hath no greater love than for those who come to the aid of a stranger
in desperate need'. The nun went on to say that 'Mother' expanded on this statement
by telling something God also made her aware of. It was that he fully realized that
people have no problem with immediately coming to the aid of family and friends
whenever help is needed by them, but what really impresses him is when this aid is
offered to a total stranger, for those are the people who he holds a special place in his
heart for. This brings us to Angelina at six, when upon meeting a shoe less girl in the
street of a mid east town, without hesitation she felt the need to remove the favorite
sneakers she was wearing and present them to the girl. She further made a vow to
never wear footwear whenever she performed in public, and that included outdoor
events in her native Norway. She knew, even at 6, that whenever she would perform
before people barefoot, a message would be directed to anyone viewing her performing
that she was making a personal statement by being barefoot, hopefully causing enough
curiosity within onlookers to find the reason why she did what she did? A further 'in depth'
look into her past would reveal things like donating the winnings she accumulated when
she was crowned 'Champion of Norway's Got Talent', as well as then helping to raise
more than 20 million dollars in charity concerts she partook in around the world, made
possible by this God given ability of hers. This is why she is able to bring forth the massive amount of emotion laden expression whenever she performs a heartfelt ballad. Personally, I can picture in my mind God watching over her here on Earth, reminded by a movie I saw many years ago that was titled, 'God Is My Co-Pilot'. I believe that says it best when trying to describe my belief in the ongoing relationship between God and her.

Angelina knows how to communicate emotions from a very young age. No other singer gives me so many different feelings as Angelina. A unique experience for me. I love how Angelina sings “Heal the world”, so warm, so intense. I feel it both as a wish and as a plea. Thank you Alan!

"Story teller" One of Angelina's strongest abilities. Through music she conveys the story behind the words and notes. Sometimes as simple as a prolonged pause, a crack in her voice. You'll feel emotions, sadness, happiness, loneliness, love, desperation. What she wants to tell you, you'll understand. 🍁

I personally believe singing predates language. For sure it predates written language. Singing is the best medium for teaching and remembering long oral histories, and, also, oral maps for long canoe journeys. I do wonder if the field of linguistics has studied the connection between song and language of a people. Int this video with the first song, I like the blues/soul versions best. Moving others is the sign of good storytelling, written, spoken, or sung. Thank you for this video. Grandma Ellen, out.

I'm an empath myself and every time I hear Angelina sing tears run down my face and I'm overtaken by emotions. The beauty of her being replenishes the inner soul and restores your beliefs on a greater something.

When Angelina sings her version of "YOU SAY" it is so beautiful you want to play it over and over. The original was sung very good by Lauren, but Angelina puts her heart, and soul into it. She breathes new life into it. Her new album is supposed to be all original songs, but a few beautiful cover songs like this should be included to show her magnificent vocal abilities.

Hi Alan. One thing you didn't touch on, but may be worth mentioning is that a lot of musicians put a great deal of emotion in their music. The Jacques Brel clip is an extreme example, but there are countless others. They all put that emotion in their music, but they are the only ones feeling it. Angelina conveys that emotional response to her listeners and that (as Mia Gunderson told 8 year old Angelina) is a rare gift.
