I love how dezeef is abled to build a constructed deck every episode..

All throughout the episode, the top graveyard was covered by cam, and camera clutter seems to be an issue with three people on screen. I think a solution could be an overlay, but I'm not sure how it works, since it's live.

I know Gage knew there was something, but I think summoning MBT > Decode Talker into EMZ pointing at Anoyatillus > attack Tribe legitimately would've won the game there.

This is probably just recency bias, but i don't remember the decks looking THIS bad in prior seasons

Gage definitely had it but waited too long to set up,he should've known how much gas Shaddoll gets with 1-2 draws

Farfa going off and laughing about it is a highlight. Those draws and mills were incredible.

Gage could have summoned Crystal Heart into either Link 3 or Link 4 multiple times.. making it a real tower but no....

15 packs seems to be best for sure. I think the best way, if video length is a concern is just skip the first 10 masterpack openings instead of opening them 1 by 1 and just open the 15 secret packs 1 by 1. Since people really only looking at supers/ultras/occasional staple.

It doesn't matter how many packs they pull. Gage was never giving up Lab until it got banned, and Farfa was never giving up Mathmech until it got hit and now he has Tearlaments. When they high roll into the strongest packs, you could give them 30 openings of other packs they wouldn't change their decks. Why would they? If you want more variety, they should institute bans more frequently to get them to shift strategies.

We need doug to 0-2 a few more times to balance things out

How about this: after opening a pack and playing a deck, they can choose to go into it a second time next episode, or pull master/secret packs like normal. Either way, after rhat episode they can NEVER go into that pack ever again.

Serious question...Why didn't Nhym use Brute Enforcer to out Fog Blade? Am I missing something? Does Fog Blade destroy the monster it's attached to?

By the by, it’s gotten really hard to see all the mills that happen, what with one of the guys blocking the way. Case in point, at two mill points, Scheiren was milled, and at least one instance, it was impossible to see at milling. Just as a heads-up.

Damn Farfa getting it twisted. That fog blade was clutch though in game 3.

To this day, I still question if Doug had any idea what he was saying when he reduced the packs from 15 to 10, considering the duels portion has been very mediocre this whole season because of less potential cards.

If you get no UR you should get a bonus pack open

If you don't get an secret pack from your masters you should choose a selection pack

Gage successfully resolving a card that says "destroy all cards your opponent controls" and the opponent having even more card advantage at the end of the chain really says something about the power creep of this game. Modern YGO really sucks sometimes.

Edit: so after a long break I finished the video. yeah, I think this season of Master Saga started as the one with the most potential but with episodes going on I feel it's kinda falling down? I think the main fault of this is the lack of packs, since the power level is THIS low in the episode before the last banlist

To avoid people drilling too deep on a single archetype, just institute a rule that nobody can pull from the same secret pack more than once per banlist cycle (every 5 eps), or once every other episode -- just some measure of time.

And to countermand the likelihood of not drawing a playable core in a single round of openings, just go back to the 15 secret pack pulls per episode statute from earlier seasons.

Honestly, Gage's pile giving Shaddoll Tears an actual game was quite interesting to watch.
