Richest guy I know drives a Honda CR-V. Owns 1000s of units.
ОтветитьI'm broke and I drive a rusty 1995 chevy G20 van 😮
ОтветитьI daily drive a 1991 Honda Civic hatchback 100 miles a day. 5 speed manual, reliable, 40 MPG, cheap insurance, cheap maintenance, fun to drive, etc, etc. I could afford to buy a brand new 50K car if I wanted too, but I want to retire early. Haven’t had a car payment in many years. I’ll be retiring very early, investing 40% of my income every paycheck… have fun in y’all’s new cars driving to work well into your 60’s!
ОтветитьBelieve it or not I just saved $12k with a 745 credit score 100% debt free living by myself at 27 years old on a low income. I had to sacrifice Like a mf but I’m doing it
ОтветитьAnyone else get a high from looking and acting poor despite being a millionaire?
ОтветитьI am going to be a billionaire and I will still look the same way I do. Why would I want to advertise my wealth to the world?
ОтветитьIf I want to think about it, depends on what you categorize as rich.
I'm not rich, I'm just secured financially. I have enough to live my whole life without working, doesn't mean I can spend my money however I like.
So I have quite a sum of assets, some will say I'm rich, but I don't feel like one. My lifestyle is cheap, I enjoy doing cheap hobbies with my buddies.
Looking poor is important to avoid lawsuits, scammers, and getting robbed. I found that out when my grandfather was sued over insurance fraud for driving a nice vehicle to the grocery store and attracting the attention of a scammer. My grandfather also got robbed more frequently than my immediate family likely because he lived in a larger home, wore expensive jewelry often, and drove expensive vehicles. The kicker was my grandfather was never very wealthy because while he had significant income he bought almost everything he had using debt and had barely anything left in actual savings and investments.
If you want to actually be rich don't live in a nice area that is highly visible, don't wear expensive clothing to encourage muggings, don't drive expensive vehicles in very public areas, etc. Hiding wealth is important because there is no reason to attract the negative attention of robbers, scammers, and muggers. I would rather keep wealth private and continue not having to deal with these situations because most think I am not rich due to looking poor in public. It is better to hide what you have than draw more negative attention to yourself.
You attract more bad then good when you show off your wealth. If people look down on you for driving a regular car, or for wearing clothes that aren't flashy name brands then you don't want to know those people anyways because they have outed themselves as shallow people who would backstab you in a heartbeat.
ОтветитьThis seems like the worst period.
Even the market are now very unpredictable. Started investing recently when the market prices were a bit high, today I am more than 60% down!
Building wealth is simply accumulating money. Accumulation = money in - money out. Your goal should be to increase the amount of money coming in and minimize the amount coming out. That’s the real reason wealthy people look poor. The less money they spend, the more money they have.
ОтветитьMoney talks Wealth whispers.
ОтветитьI will be forever grateful to you, you changed my entire life and I will continue to preach on your behalf for the whole world to hear you saved me from huge financial debt with just a small investment, thank you Charlotte Miller.
ОтветитьMy preference is wealthy instead of the word rich. Wealthy sounds more permanent.
ОтветитьThere is no reason to look "poor". Be honest, be yourself and just don't be a jerk.
ОтветитьI know plenty "quiet rich". They don't look poor. But they are real and never show off.
ОтветитьMy advice to everyone is this : if you want to grow big this year especially in your finances. Be willing to make investments. Saving is great but investing puts you on a pedestal where you wouldnt have to worry about savings as you do now. Thanks to larysa Caba, my portolio is doing really great and im proud of the decisions i made last year.
ОтветитьMy wife and I are pretty wealthy. Top 5%, maybe even top 2% in terms of net worth. Average working couple who had to earn all of this.
We keep our wealth to ourselves. Family and friends who know us would guess we are comfortable -- but probably not THIS comfortable at such a young age.
rich people try to look poor.
ОтветитьI don't try to look poor. I am just too cheap to spend money in flashy useless items. I would not mind looking draper if it did not come at a cost. (And that's why I am financially free).
ОтветитьThey don’t try to look poor they just don’t give a shit about looking rich .
ОтветитьSo far, I'm doing good approaching retirement with about 800k in savings, but transitioning from building wealth to spending can be scary, especially with soaring inflation. My question is, after maxing out my tax-advantaged retirement accounts, what next?
ОтветитьI’m doing very well and can afford anything I want within reason. I get the most comfort from not worrying about affording things. Such as vacations, dinning out and paying my bills.
ОтветитьWhile there are valid reasons for some degree of financial privacy, completely hiding wealth through artificial modesty isn't always the most beneficial approach. A balanced strategy of responsible wealth management, security measures, and selective enjoyment of resources may be more advantageous for many individuals.
ОтветитьI will be forever grateful to you, you changed my entire life and I will continue to preach on your behalf for the whole world to hear you saved me from huge financial debt with just a small investment, thank you Katherine Miller.
ОтветитьI'm favoured, $28K every week! I can now give back to the locals in my community and also support God's work and the church. God bless America,,
ОтветитьManaging money is different from accumulating wealth, and the lack of investment education in schools may explain why people struggle to maintain their financial gains. The examples you provided are relevant, and I personally benefited from the market crisis, as I embrace challenging times while others tend to avoid them. Well, at least my advisor does too, jokingly.
ОтветитьGreat video, The first $100,000 invested was amazing. But when you hit $300,000 it’s like smashing the glass ceiling! I cried.
ОтветитьHmm what the point being rich .. if you do exactly poor people do lol... rich people move to rich areas...
ОтветитьWhat defines rich ?
ОтветитьThe bots/liars are out in force😂
ОтветитьThis is just one generalization after the next.
ОтветитьPutting well-earned money into the stock market can be over emphasized for first-time investors, unlike a bank where interest is sure thing! Well, basically times are uncertain, the market is out of control, and banks are gradually failing. I am working on a ballpark estimate of $5M for retirement, and I have a good 6-figure loaded up for this, could there be any opportunity for a boomer like me? I'm nearly 60.
ОтветитьI lost over $70k when everything started to tank. Not because I was in an exchange that went belly up. I was just stupid to hold and because that's what everyone said. I'm still responsible. It just taught me to be a better investor now that I understand more of what could go wrong. It took me over two years of being in the market, I'm really grateful I found one source to recover my money, at least $10k profits weekly. Thanks Natalie Strayer.
ОтветитьDONALD NATHAN SCOTT.
ОтветитьFor me, wealth is for security. If can't be happy with a little more than the basics money wont do me any good.
ОтветитьThis 8 minute video is basically one idea that can be said in one sentence presented in 1000 ways to last the whole video.. !!!! 😊
Rich don’t flaunt their wealth so they appear less flashy, less prone to attacks by thieves and scammers and form genuine connections with people and colleagues so they’re not judged for their wealth.. ❤
Read this one comment and save your 8 minutes.. thank me later.. 😂😂
If you saw me you would never guess I’m wealthy
ОтветитьMy christ❤🌹
ОтветитьI'm 55 and financially successful. My car is 14 years old, I live in a mobile home and I still work a full time job. I own real estate that's all paid for. Deception is key.
