if the lions and chiefs played today it would be a close game. I would take lions beating chiefs if they played today, but if they both were playing in the Super Bowl, the chiefs would win that game. I would hate to have to go against the Chiefs more if they were the opponent because they frustrate teams by doing just enough to win. The lions on the other hand are dominant but pretty straight forward.

if KC had to play at Detroit they're probably getting a loss . They are the current standard but Detroit is going with physical violence with unselfish talent and KC will not play anyone until Detroit that can run it like we can. 3 things have happened to get them ready for a Super Bowl championship 1. get their butts kicked when they thought they were ready (Baltimore last year) 2. Have a NFC championship game loss (showed them what it was going to take to make it to the Super Bowl so thankyou San Francisco ) 3. Ok guys, think of it this way....yes, we've seen k.c. win it all and yes we've seen k.c...lose it all too, and you already know, the lions would treat the Superbowl as just another game, that is always their mindset, next game up, next opponent up, that's always the mindset they always have, no matter the odds, that's the way they think and feel and play, now, the last 2 times the lions have played k c....we've beat them...once in preseason and once in the regular season....

Wait till/if Goff has to play outdoors in cold weather, he's completely different in tough weather. Chiefs Defense can slow Detroit down and at some point Mahomes might stop throwing INT's every game. Mahomes has thrown at least 1 INT in every game this season yet they're still 7-0 despite having the most difficult schedule so far. Yes Detroit have the best O-Line and a really good D-Line but if Chiefs meet Detroit in the SB is anyone sane gonna go with Goff (3 points in his SB) over Mahomes???? I trust in Spags and the Chiefs Defense to do enough to limit Detroits run game just enough to make Goff have to make important throws. Obviously Detroit may get lucky and never even have to play outdoors in the playoffs and the SB is indoors too, but still, beating up on bad and average teams is very different to playing the very best. Chiefs aren't stomping on anyone anymore but they make plays when they need too on both sides of the ball especially on Defense.
Detroit losing Hutchinson is a big deal for them, even though they probably have the strongest roster in the NFC I don't even trust them to get to the SB, Dan Campbell will probably make a crazy call to lose them a game just like last year....

99% of the time when you think the Chiefs are about to lose, Surprise! They don’t. I’m a huge Chiefs fan and even I over the last six years have been astonished at what I’ve seen. NEVER count them out when 15 is on the field. It’s just crazy what he does.

It does not matter if your crushing teams in the regular season. The Chiefs are gonna turn it into a dogfight and they are more experienced at winning dogfights than all the other teams in the league combined at this point. In a lot of ways those teams that just thrash teams all year long are the ones who struggle most, because they've never learned how to handle the pressure and adversity of a close game.
