very intelligent young woman! and one who deserves all the accolades for her win.
ОтветитьBrilliant ride!
ОтветитьGreat story of Olympics. Just wow.
ОтветитьThis showed that even before she clipped into her pedals, how in control she was of that race.
ОтветитьGood job Kristen. Enjoy
ОтветитьRisk. No guts, no glory. Congrats Kristen!
ОтветитьDang😮🎉
ОтветитьHow about a teammate crashing the bunch behind her just before a big climb at an important moment in the race?
Is that a calculated risk?
She caught up with the leaders then say BYE BYE and never look back. Simply Amazing
ОтветитьAs soon as they started looking at each other after she jumped you knew it was a done deal. I don’t get that “well I’m not chasing” mentality, in that situation I don’t think I could live with myself if I didn’t at least try to race it out. Knowing I’d given it a go would make losing a bit easier to swallow.
Ответитьher sheer watts production/power took it.
ОтветитьThe way she calculated the perfect time to sprint ahead of those In front was remarkable.
ОтветитьMaybe because I do ride a bike.this was my favorite gold medal for American was screaming for the last minute
ОтветитьWhen she was in the second group, I was thinking if they could catch the lead group, I liked her chances in a sprint to the finish. But when they caught up and she just took off, and the others looked like they didn’t want a piece of that, she broke their will — so cool.
ОтветитьShe definitely needs to become professional worldtour rider to be honest.
ОтветитьAlaskan pride!😉👍
ОтветитьHer victory is bringing me to the conclusion that this may be the best Olympics ever.
Ответитьher responses show a maturity and thoughtfulness that's awesome and refreshing...interviews on the men''s side are filled with "so yeah, I just, you know, so yeah" 🤣🤣🤣
ОтветитьRisk vs Reward ratio, a good way to live life in general! Go Kristen!
ОтветитьHow about an actual video
ОтветитьKristen road a Tactical race but, the field will never let her do that again. Congratulations on the win!!!
ОтветитьIn running you rarely see a Metric Mile medalist compete & win a Marathon!
Ответитьyou kicked ass woman !!!!! well done 💐💐💐
ОтветитьTo finish with the win, with no one else in sight behind her, simply awe inspiring.
ОтветитьKristen dropped them all like 3rd Period French. A masterful, tactical move that earned her the Gold.
ОтветитьKristen performed like a rock star in that road race. The way she pulled away from the final challengers was nothing short of incredible and gritty. Way to go, Kristen! 👏👏🥇
ОтветитьLearning and fun anything can be made into this with a great attitude like Kristens.
ОтветитьAnyone have a link of her gold medal presentation. I guess Peacock didn't think it was very important!
ОтветитьChampion's mentality
ОтветитьShe may have peaked too early! Hopefully she continues to find the motivation to stay on top of the cycling world.
Ответитьarmstrong taught her well
ОтветитьCONGRATULATIONS, KRISTEN FAULKNER!!!

ОтветитьAnything is possible with an attitude like Kristen’s. Good luck in the future.
ОтветитьStarts biking to help with stress, wins a gold medal. Hell of a story!
Ответитьamazing young and humble woman!
ОтветитьI would imagine the team managers and UCI would like to talk with the three that coudnt agree on who was going to go for it instead they sat back and argued - dumb
ОтветитьVery articulate and VERY talented.
ОтветитьRock star!
ОтветитьShe then went on to win another gold medal on track
ОтветитьThats it?

Amazing race. In my view, one of the highlights of the Paris Olympics. A delight to watch it!!
Ответитьshe made it look easy even though we all know its not.
ОтветитьShe's a great ambassador for the sport👍
When I was young many years ago, cycling was a true working class sport.
Not so much anymore😊
