what happens if Ledger company dies?

This may have been covering the video and I missed it so I'm sorry. Devices die thumb drives portable hard drives etc. What would happen if this wallet would die this is your crypto gone?

Aged like milk. Ledger now has key extraction code in their firmware to pull your keys out of that wallet and send them to three companies (one of which is Ledger themselves) over the internet. It's an optional feature, but even if you don't use it, Ledger's key extraction code is on your hardware, and that's baaaaaad. EDIT: And then you talk about Blockfi, which has since gone bankrupt. Oh wow. You should probably delete this video.

speaking of BlockFi... It is actually why I am here, trying to find a crypto wallet since as of today we have access to whatever we had in a wallet there... Think we will be getting our coins back from the BIA accounts? Really really hope so!

Hypothetically what happens if yo lose your ledger nano x how do you then get access to your crypto, do you just buy a new one? But then I'm confused because in the video when setting up the drive you got a new secret phase, but how do you access the crypto with the previous phrase.
