Who would've guessed an 8 seed would do what the Lakers/Blazers couldn't- win at the Alamodome in the spring of 99?
ОтветитьGreat highlight clip. Classic talent on both teams.
ОтветитьBásquet de verdad🎉
Ответить31 in 1st half pathetic o ffense late 90s all iso no player movement yes was physical so was 80s and scores were averaging 100+
ОтветитьPrime Garnett > Prime Duncan
ОтветитьAs good as KG was here, he wasn't even in his prime yet. He was so good defensively. Prime KG would've been an absolute nightmare for prime KD to deal with. KG had the foot speed, length, anticipation and tenacity to hound KD. If the Bulls had run back the same team from 1998, assuming they made it out of the east, I don't think they beat these Spurs. The Bulls barely got by the big front court of the Pacers in 1998 and with an older team and aging Rodman, no way the Bulls could've dealt with David Robinson and Tim Duncan. But betting against Jordan in the finals is probably a bad bet.
ОтветитьSpurs won 12 in a row after this.
ОтветитьTwo fantastic post players.
ОтветитьWhen bigs played with the fundamentals of the game …. No disrespect to the European bigs 💯
ОтветитьIf memory serves 99’ was a strike shortened year for the NBA. Personally, I was disappointed with it. Didn’t watch as much but, San Antonio had a great team.
ОтветитьAlways a duel of GOAT PF, KG vs TD. I think Garnett is way better than Duncan in terms of Skills and Versatility. But Tim is also a Beast on Defense and Offense like KG.
ОтветитьIs this the same series where Kevin Garnett said, “Happy Mother’s Day” to Tim Duncan?
ОтветитьWho are the TNT announcers?
ОтветитьI could watch this all day. Sports entertainment at its peak.
Now, 25 years later we have people jogging from one 3point line to another and chucking up uncontested threes.
