I love this video. Thanks for sharing the history of this great instrument.
ОтветитьI liked the CME jam at the end of the video. You guys should give it a name.
ОтветитьThere were a lot here in town, we used to have songbirds guitar museum 😭
ОтветитьI must own one. This will be an heirloom guitar for my son. Please help me with a layaway for a Murphy Lab model.
ОтветитьI'll take all three! Where do I insert the card? Ok no nasty comments! No really Pay Pal personal check? What? They all sold?? Damn why didn't I get a call for God's sake?? Oh yeah I forgot...I'm Joe Schmoe from nowheresville. 😎
ОтветитьActually this is the best demo I've ever heard on Legit 58, 59 or 60 Burst's. That TONE!! Gravy of the Gods right there and killing guitar playing as well. Really enjoyed this one thank you!
ОтветитьIt is indeed the only right thing to do……👍🏻
Ответитьin the light is a super underrated zeppelin cut - quintessential les paul tone
Ответить..how did I miss this? Excellent playing, gents.
ОтветитьAnd practically none owned by a deserving player.
ОтветитьFantastic video guys, thanks for giving us a taste of barely-obtanium. Bonus points for cool songs and playing😊🔥🤘
Ответитьthis guitars are not originals, these looks like fakes or better call it reissues les pauls too new imaculate for originals
ОтветитьMy two favorite guitarists you guys have (I still love you Andrew i promise!) in one place! We need more Joel and Nathaniel playing together in my life!
ОтветитьGibson LesPaul got 7 and there's nothing better for a solid body electric guitar Get one!
ОтветитьThe middle one is a late ‘60s, the far right is an early ‘60s.
ОтветитьThe song they play at 03.03 is that a jam or a cover of a song?
ОтветитьWait...thats not Nathaniel. Joel kick the skinny guys ass then make fun of him with some appropriate slurs please. You know him better and can cut him deeper.
Ответитьperfect paf tone!
ОтветитьThese would have been obscure 50's Gibsons if it wasn't for Clapton.
ОтветитьThey were never called Burst. Called Les Paul Standard. What they are, all that old wood is long gone.
ОтветитьGreat video and great jam
ОтветитьGod bless you guys, thank you for sharing this video with us.
ОтветитьThanks for making this video. It is great to see how different each guitar really is.
ОтветитьGood guitars no doubt. But they’re just guitars at the end of the day. It take a lot more stuff in addition to create music. So easy with the marketing speeches.
ОтветитьPretty sure I played that tomato soup red ‘60 when I went to CME a few years back.
ОтветитьCan anyone tell me what color burst the '59 on the left at the beginning is?
ОтветитьNathaniel!!!!! F beast!!!
ОтветитьGibson is like a good wine. As long as it is a good Gibson (Or wine) you can have one x50 in price, and it's more about talk and story than actual quality or sound. This is my believe.
ОтветитьThank God they took off the bigsby. They should be re-named to Gaysby.
ОтветитьSome fine demo tones and playing! Really enjoyable to listen to.
ОтветитьI bet Joe Bonamassa has seen this video. 1959 was the year of The Best.
ОтветитьWow , you guys can play ! Loved this vid , especially "Waiting for an Alibi " took me way back ......Thank you .
ОтветитьGentlemen… great playing !!!
Ответить1.8k views after 3 years because the high quality talking is spoiled by occasional interruption with those old guitars that we don't want to hear.
ОтветитьI used to think I thought zeppelin was the greatest music ever made just because I wasn’t open minded and needed to be more open minded. 36 year later it definitely not true. Zeppelin was the greatest, I knew I wasn’t crazy.
ОтветитьCould just enjoy it without all the talking.
ОтветитьWhat I find amazing about Guitars in general, is that they never wear out or break beyond repair so just about all that were ever made still exist now, and millions more are made every year!
ОтветитьGreat playing, beautiful tones .... Thank you for the Zep, the Allmans and especially the Lizzy ...
ОтветитьAwesome video gentlemen!! Happy to say I have a R8 plain top and a R0 60th anniversary edition. What an incredible guitar that R0!!! There will be a R-9 in the future! I just bought a 98% condition CME Tomato Burst! So far it's a winner, BIG time!!
ОтветитьTHE sound of rock!
ОтветитьSuch tasty, tasty players! Thank you so much for taking so much time to share these gems with us. I know how much effort this stuff takes and I’m so grateful that you guys give us a taste of these things most of us will never experience, in the flesh.
Nice work!
Thin Lizzy is the perfect song to play with two bursts
Ответить🤩WOW🤩
Ответитьthose bursts look so good I feel like I just climbed the rope in gym class ! I wish I was joking
Ответить3059 Lowe Creek
ОтветитьGreat demo! You covered all the basses. While I try not to covet things I know I will never be able to have,it's amazing how effortlessly you were able to cop the desired tones you went for.
ОтветитьThese bursts only attract rich guys who don't play.
It's always the same old shit over and over. Les paul, bust, strings over/under,
Always talking about the same old guitars. And the people who played them. Nothing ever innovative.
I should be in awe of them and how much they cost. Bla bla bla.
