Okay. Since the first time Rosie insulted Isara, I knew that she was going to stop being such a racist prick at some point.

I did NOT realize that it would happen like this.

That snap is a familiar sound to every soldier I straight teared up on this one. I lost a good friend like this in Afghanistan and I remember when I bought this game. And this happened I lost it thank God there was no one around. Still it's a powerful scene.

Let me start by saying that this is by far the saddest death in the whole series, she was my favourite character and the fact that she was killed so easily made me feel so bad.
I want to answer the question "Why kill her?" It's somewhat simple, she had an uniform that looked like the one of an officer, so did Welkin and Zaka, but why Isara? She was a darcsen, keep in mind that Imps kept darcsens in concentration camps, they probably chose her out of pure hatred, why not Zaka? He had a bandana on his head that coveres his hair, Isara being the most clear pick, they chose her, if she only received treatment, she could've been saved.

Fuck, it hurts.

As predictable as this death was, it was actually effective. Kinda reminded me of LoGH where it seemed pretty clear that no one was truly safe

You know, i didn't like the anime version of VC, but Welkin's reaction is way better in it, here it seems like Rosie is sadder than Welkin while he lose his freakin SISTER (i know they had to move on the Welkin/Alicia romance, but they could have make him mourn a little more, as i said, the scene where is break in tears in the anime he truly well done)

Played Valkyria 4 recently. The only way I could get through the Squad 7 dlc was by covering the screen whenever Isara's face appeared, because every time I saw it, I saw this scene instead. The missions were a peace of cake, but the hardest part was getting past the cutscenes.

I've seen the anime already, her death was so gut wrenching. I think I'm close to this point in the game. Im so not ready. Im bawling just watching this.

This scene pissed me off more than anything. Especially after I spent close to two hours getting all my troops through marberry alive and with killing every enemy on the map. :/

When I first say this scene I was wondering why target Isara where you have a (possible) clean shot on anyone else in the area?

I remember sparing those Imperial soldiers in a previous mission. After this... no more mercy.

Bro everytime i play through this i fuckin cry man.

So funny story, I got to the 11th chapter today. The map is killing me a bit. But I noticed the comic picture for the upcoming clips and realised one was in a cemetery. I TRIED to get myself to wait to find out but fuck that level has had me struggling. So I looked this up. I don’t regret it but damn I’m sad now. I thought she’d die at the beginning honestly. And when she didn’t I like “oh shit she’s capable.” And here we are… ouch.

I'm so glad I played this game blind.

This was the saddest death in the whole series, but also kind of preventable. No one really tried to help Isara and apply pressure to the wound.
Reasonably i can understand why Rosie didnt react to the wound, being in shock and having a lot of thoughts racing through her mind, but Largo, Zaka, and/or maybe even Welkin probably should have reacted to it. Would Isara live? Probably not, with how fast she died it is likely an artery might have been hit, but would she still have a shot at life still? Absolutely, a slim chance is better than none. That and crowding around her probably didnt help.

I also find it hilarious that who ever shot Isara couldnt hit anyone else, though judging by the sound it was likely a sniper who just ran off, not a lucky or sharp shot by the three riflemen. Those guys probably couldnt hit the broad side of a barn door since none of them really came close to hitting Rosie or the wounded Isara.

Despite all the years since I last played this game, this scene still gets me.

I just got to this part in the game and was moved like everyone else.

I had outfitted Rosie with the MG-1R machine gun during the mission, I wanted to see her go into an uncontrollable rage and brutally gun down those soldiers.

Got spoiled by an extra mission, I hate that this scene got spoiled to me
