Hello ❤
Ответить❤
ОтветитьRight on! ✅️ 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Ответить♥️
ОтветитьI bleached my fine, kinky hair to platinum blonde and Aphogee protein treatment kept my hair whole. Turns out everyone thought, that the past shoulder length white hair was a wig. 😅 I would not do that treatment for my natural hair though. I really have no idea what it would do to my fine natural hair so this is enlightening.
ОтветитьYou are absolutely right. Over forty years ago I discovered this with clients that were doing their hair at home.
ОтветитьThis is why years ago it was considered a professional product for professionals because you needed to be educated on using the product!
ОтветитьThis is correct!
ОтветитьI have low porosity hair and I stopped as soon as I heard you saying that it wasn’t good for my hair. I’d been using Ion brand from Sally’s in the big red pump bottle every time I colored my hair since 2018. Could this have contributed to the thinning of my hair?
ОтветитьI wish I could take my scalp off and mail it to you so you could assess it and tell me how I’m doing. I’ve been following your practices since January and my hair is in much better shape, however, I WILL ADMIT I used the aphogee treatment two times within a two month span this year... 😅 All that I’m thinking of now is you saying “everything works until it doesn’t.” Thanks for rebuking me lol
ОтветитьI washed with tea tree shampoo and conditioner and did a roller set on my natural hair for the first time in 7 years yesterday because of your advice. I also detangled with oil before I shampooed on dry hair.
ОтветитьI tried Apoghee years ago when I was relaxed and I hated it. It was sticky and smelled awful and kinda burned my scalp and made my hair hard and dry. The whole experience was weird and I hated it.
ОтветитьHey doll im an olaplex girl the same..but i checked description on what else you would advise i didnt see products? What else besides k-18
ОтветитьI would love video all about aphogee..been using it since i bleaches my hair
ОтветитьNot gone hold you. When someone leaves a comment like that defending what they choose to do with their hair. My first thought is 🤔ok if you feel so confident and bold in your stance. Sis why you YELLLING LOL. Why are you so triggered. Left that long ass comment, just to say she’s not going to stop. Ok so why are you here? Why even comment? I’m not hair expert, and I’m new to your community, but I’m open to learn from past mistakes most of us have admittedly made. How can you argue with someone who is trying to educate, AND uses science to back up the claim. My thought would be if it makes your hair soo strong why do you have to keep doing it over and over again. It’s not healing or strengthening anything it’s sounds like it’s just covering up the damage. Putting a band aid over it so to speak! Thanks cyn for consistently sharing your knowledge l. I’ve learned so much binge watching your content ❤💯💪🏾
ОтветитьHi cyn!❤ Have a question, what do you think about Epres or Nexxus amino and Bond Treatment as bond treatments? Thx.
ОтветитьPlease go into all of the aphogee products @cyndoll
ОтветитьThank you
Ответить💖😊💖 thank you for this advice 💖😊💖
ОтветитьAfro-gee, never heard it pronounced like that before 😮😊
ОтветитьIt was always about selling products. Because instead of telling low porosity women to stay away from protein altogether, they say just use protein "less often".
Black women are the easiest group to make money off of.
That's why so many team natural staples are leftovers they couldn't sell to white women because they knew better. But lemme stop talking.😭
Once a month, I use protein on me & my kids but we go to the pool twice a week. What people don’t realize is that too much protein will make the hair brittle and cause it to snap off.
ОтветитьSo I’ve been listening for a while and have an honest question, is it okay to put some oil e.g Moroccan oil on the hair itself, not the scalp? Please answer, thanks 🙏🏾
ОтветитьIve been doing research, and from what Ive found natural hair textures have a more elliptical shape and the twists and curls create weak points in the hair shaft (this explains why keeping hair straight allows for better retention and ai have retained 3 inches in 6 months so the proof speaks for itself). The cuticle tends to break off more easily as well. Asian hair types tend be stronger and can generally withstand more damage, followed by caucasian hair. It is inevitable that brushing and manipulating will cause some form of damage (at this point im not convinced that breakage is 100% preventable). Im currently looking for ways to better reinforce the cuticle and reduce small breaks of the hair strand. Aside from sebum coverage or use of oil towards the ends do you have any advice?
ОтветитьAnother professional product that shouldn’t have been sold to consumers. It doesn’t help that non-professionals misuse the product and don’t read or understand the product.
ОтветитьI wish teacher spoke this passionately in school, then I might have been more interested in science!
ОтветитьWhere’s the link to the different types of bond treatments you recommend?
ОтветитьI would love to learn more on the differences of Bond treatments and protein treatments.
Ответитьcan you please do a video on Aphogee.
Ответить❤You're thevbest
ОтветитьThe only protein treatment I do is the egg and mayo or avacado and egg. And that's like once every 4 months because I keep my hair braided
ОтветитьWith protein treatments, consumers have to understand. Aphogee, nexxus emergencee, etc. are heavy-duty protein treatments.
ОтветитьOh Cyn, time passes but you remain always super charmy & effortlessly 5e><y !!!... truly gorgeous from head to soIe! Btw, is there any chance that you couId mke another epic F😍😍T CARE video any time soon? I ❤ em !
ОтветитьOlaplex never worked for me. My hair is just as dry and dull after using it as before. I think its overated.
Ответитьrepairing my hair from protein overload right now. I made the mistake of using it. I thought to give my hair more strength. Since I'm on a healthy hair journey... It didnt workout that way for me. Set me back, I'm riddled with single strand knots and all split ends you can think of. I've been cutting off the damage slowly. I do have a quite a bit of breakage. From the protein making my hair stiff, dry, and unmanagable. It was breaking with everything I did.
Ответить⚖️💙💙💙⚖️😎👍🚀
ОтветитьDang it!!! 😢 I just used this 3 days ago. I couldn’t find anything on your channel about aphogee sis! Thanks for this much needed video. I need to book an appointment. I am spending too much money on products and I heard a natural hair influencer encouraging us to be “product junkies” because that is the only way you will know what to use! I knew that sounded off🫨 My hair was feeling mushy and was breaking easy. I don’t want the little bit I have to fall out…I just want healthy strong hair. It doesn’t have to be long. 😢 I have 4c/4a fine hair. I have tried to figure out my porosity so that I can remain consistent! I will now check out the bond strengtheners. Keep telling the truth in these streets!
Edit: Ok so I can use it but not often. My hair was struggling… whew!!😰
This is why I only buy the single packs of theAphogee.
ОтветитьI have wig that is very mushy because of me trying to lighten to become platium blond. I'm not a professional stylist so I would lighten it slowly. I didn't know at the time that this particular hair couldn't go to a high level blonde.
ОтветитьALWAYS AWESOME INFORMATION MI AMIGA. Always consistent ❤🎉
Ответитьif you like protein but don't want to overdo it, I highly recommend the Redken extreme line (formulated for daily use so pretty weak)
ОтветитьPlease dive deeper concerning aphogee because I’ve notice more breakage while using it natural.
ОтветитьI only do protein treatments when i bleach my hair. Every 6 months maybe.
ОтветитьFor my next wash day, I will just use my detox shampoo and conditioner. I don't use of chemical treatments, color or heat (blow dryer/ flat iron).
Question- Can DC be used when blow dryer is used, as well as removing Braids (added hair)?
Watching this as l THROW OUT ALL MY PROTEIN TREATMENTS smh!!! Why did l buy these products? 😐🙄😑
ОтветитьLOVED the fire extinguisher analogy! "You never know, some sht could pop off and you need the fire extinguisher"..... You ain't NEVEAHHH LIED! I appreciate the clarity you're giving us. WE NEED THIS from a factual and scientific perspective. I'm one of the people with a whole beauty supply in my bathroom and bedroom and no hair to use it on because of CCCA. I've just started the 7 Day Challenge and I'm excited to take this journey! I too have high porosity hair so I get it on a whole nuthah level with this clarity. THANK YOU CYN DOLL!!!! A DOLL YOU TRULY ARE!
