Any official HOA has a management company running the properties. All letters will have the HOA name, address, and management company.

There are HOA’s that only maintain road surfaces, signage, road stripping those fees are very low. Even still, you would sign HOA documents in your closing documents.

Have them show you a copy of the HOA YOU SIGNED!! I never heard of an HOA on the size of property you have. I don’t know how long you have lived there, but seems you could contact a realtor to see exactly what you have there! Worth a try!

You can also file a complaint with the FBI. Cyber bullying or attempted cyber extortion is a federal felony.

Pretty sure you don't belong to any HOA and they were trying to scam you.. HOA's, are for group communities. You're obviously in the country in your own area.

Are you paying HOA fees? The first thing our HOA does is go after unpaid dues.
If you don't pay or have never paid HOA fees you do not belong to the HOA.

Check with the city if you don't have HOA on your papers you do not have to pay them have your area survey again😅😅😅😅

If you know a reliable realtor, not an agent but a realtor, find out how much they charge to do a property assessment for the entire HOA. Then you can start your complaints against any that don't comply with the HOA provisions. That could be fun.

unless you sign the papers to join the hoa, you don't owe them anything.

Just stay away from any HOA properties. They are way off the track. Don't do any work for them. Never ever set a foot on any hoa properties they're like monsters. I don't care they're willing to pay top dollars for any work. Walk & Drive away.

its a scam probably from the same city fathers that are denying your plans for a wedding venue. Do some research and see if anyone has interest in developing adjacent properties which would require acquiring your property too.
