XCom Enemy Within | Base Defense Success Cutscene *Spoiler*

the funny thing is all your equipment and facility still intact in one piece.

It would be cool if some generator or any facility get destroyed and we can rebuild again

I'm glad this was uploaded, when I beat the battle the sound bugged out and the scene was completely silent.

hola me podrían ayudar con el problema del juego xcom enemy whitin, por que cuando me atacan la base y tengo que defenderla el juego se congela y se pone negra la pantalla y no puedo continuar.... gracias

I don't know if it's just me or what, but i'm stuck at this part with one heavy, two assaults who aren't worth anything, and a whole bunch of grunts that can't aim worth sh*t. Anybody else come across this problem, or do i need to start the game over to achieve a different result?

I finished it with 1 1/2 guys left (one was koed and stablized). The surviving soldier ended up becoming my first genemodded soldier, the koed soldier became my first Mech Trooper

and xcom 2 shows what hapens if you fail the base defense

The awkward moment when this cutscene also happens if you fail the Long War mod of XCOM Enemy Within Base Defense

I actually captured an etherial who was invading the base alive one time. Smuggest interrogation ever...

IMO, i think this mission would've been better if it was EXALT that was assaulting the base rather than the aliens.

One of my proudest Base Defenses was almost immediately after a rough mission where most of the A-team was killed. Only two of the soldiers were ranked higher than lieutenant along with one sergeant. The rest were mostly squaddies and one recruit.

It took some hail marys along with developing a defensive line at the back of the base and simply resigning to trying to hold out against the waves of enemies charging into the command room. But held out they did. It turned into an absolute meat grinder and not all of them made it, but a surprising number of them did. After that I was like "Alright, you've all earned your spots on the new A-team."
