He is the king
ОтветитьI don’t believe RC let him win. He’s got to much respect to do that to him. MC had no competition. He’s take the hole shot n check out. We’d watch 2nd n 3rd battle.
ОтветитьLooks obvious to me Ricky let Jeremy win. Don't know why he did that but I'm convinced that it happened
ОтветитьYes it looked plain as day he let him win
ОтветитьSad
ОтветитьSo many times in this race you can see Ricky let up.he let him win.he was on cruise mode right behind him.
Ответить72 wins
ОтветитьHad the same year YZ 250 obviously not factory just an FMF pipe it was a flying machine!
ОтветитьClassy move by Ricky. He banged into Jeremy a little too hard, so he gave him the position back and kept racing. Good sportsmanship.
ОтветитьYou can say it's McGrath's last win but in reality it's the last time RC let Jeremy beat him
ОтветитьI believe that was at Anaheim.
I was there.
Awesome race!
When you reel in Dale sanders and not ready to put him down...not yet...his old man brought a torque wrench to the side line...I almost changes my mind..Winchester Indiana 78
ОтветитьKing and the goat
ОтветитьValeu irmão
ОтветитьThose look like pit bike tracks compared to the tracks of today 🤣
ОтветитьEarly 2000s were awesome for sx
ОтветитьRicky sure did get use to those lights.
ОтветитьJeremy the king. F rc.
ОтветитьRC was sandbagging MC, but done so with respect 🫡.
ОтветитьAnyone who saw the race broadcast knows that the video is blurry, WHY? It doesn’t add nostalgia to filter old videos too look older than they are. It seems that producers do this to add a vintage feel to ten and twenty year old videos. I have a seen video of this race recently and it’s crystal clear.
Ответитьnada mejor que un cuerpo a cuerpo con una dos tiempos esto ya ya desgraciadamente no volverá
ОтветитьMan, you just don’t hear commentary like that anymore.
ОтветитьI was at that in Anaheim. Ricky dominated after that race.
ОтветитьEveryone knows that Jeremy had his wrist rebuilt a couple times and the doctor said it could end up useless if he broke it again, he said he couldn't stop thinking about that while riding
ОтветитьYeah, I'm thinking that was a gift from Ricky!
ОтветитьDude was unreal. I can only imagine what kind of rider he would have been if he came through the modern era, with modern training programs and technique. Would probably be unbeatable.
ОтветитьMcGrath never had real competition until RC came along and changed the sport forever one of the big reasons McGrath retired he had to start training hard just to keep up instead of partying all the time
it wasn't easy anymore
As good as RC and JS were in Supercross. ET3 has more all time wins. ET3 is a legend no matter what he does post achillies injury.
ОтветитьI remember this race. Edge of my seat
ОтветитьMcGrath is the GOAT of Supercross
Ricky is the GOAT of overall
The Chevy Kawasaki team was 🔥
ОтветитьAnd this is why Jeremy McGrath makes the Big Bucks! Yes he was that good.
ОтветитьPEDs
ОтветитьRicky was a class act for letting his hero beat him that night.Anyone who thinks Jeremy mcgrath really won is nuts. I miss these days
ОтветитьThose 2 strokes sound beautiful
ОтветитьAfter this Ricky took over just like Jeremy did in 93’
ОтветитьIf i was in the military id be a sniper 😂😂😂
ОтветитьUnc they must be out of highschool 3 yrs before they can declare for the draft
ОтветитьEra diferente todo ante
ОтветитьRicky is the goat and Jeremy is the king but Jeremy is still the king goat of supercross to me best forever in my book
ОтветитьOne of Bailey’s last time as well; commentating!👍🏻
ОтветитьIt’s taken Eli Tomac 11 seasons to get to 53 wins. That just shows how dominant Jeremy was in his era. Ricky was definitely on fire after that. 2 strokes just sounded great back then. Especially when those guys were on.
Ответить24 yrs ago, yesterday. Legendary Race.
ОтветитьThe Goat Herder 😅
ОтветитьA very iconic finish
ОтветитьNice! McGirth partied like a porn star after that race...while Chubs decided to get fit and change the sport. Both winners.
ОтветитьNever forget watching this race knowing someone finally stepped up and it was going to be a battle for MC from now on
ОтветитьThis is when I really got into motocross and supercross. It was Emig and Mcgrath, then Ricky busted in. After that Reed, Stewart, Villopoto, Dungee, etc. I believe that was a Golden Age! The kids now are fast, but they're using techniques developed by the Golden Age riders.
ОтветитьSay what you want about RC now, but back then he had a lot of respect for the king. Hit him accidentally and gave him the spot back to show good faith. I remember watching this live as a kid SCREAMING “what?!?! No!!!!!” But now I’m older I see RC made the correct call here
ОтветитьThe sound of a perfectly carbureted works two stroke is sublime.
