You purposely hit the object ball in the wrong spot in the first example. Hit the right spot and that english would have worked just fine. Although this is an extremely poor example but I think you used backhand english on the second shot. Again, EITHER would work perfectly fine!

That first try you hit the wrong side of the ball. Nowhere near you where what the dots and lines were showing

I had 2 of those carbon/fiber cues....deflection was serious! Never! Never liked them. Switch to a predator shaft. had it milled down to a conical 12.5 tip and started too whoop azz! No more deflection aiming.

Can you hit the right side of the cue ball instead of left? Like make a video when to hit right or left for deflection
