I’m so, so glad this game (and level 5) is getting the love it deserves. The first one was my favorite game ever as a kid and one of the only ones my parents played with me. I never thought I’d get another because the first seems to have a cult following…but here we are! I hope everyone loves their time with this game. It’s great for all ages. I’m having as much fun now as I did when I was a kid :)
ОтветитьSo happy that this has improved and built up on the previous game. So happy to see this come back.
ОтветитьLets go introboys
ОтветитьLove playing 3DS FL, but I got this one on my PS5. Actually nice with the haptic controllers. Some of the button layout was shit. Like heavy battle with a boss & you press a little hard on the left stick: poof! You get an emote menu, while the boss is kicking your ass in the background!
But the amount of content makes it so worth the money. So glad Level 5 put this out on all the consoles. Nice to have a choice for once.
SKA LEETAL DRAGON WTF?
Ответитьwhich controller is that?
ОтветитьLoved the original but going to wait for the switch 2 version!
ОтветитьI saw it pop up in my Steam account two days before the official release and instantly recognized the hit that it was. Even got the release with the early access and at full price. It didn't even hit me that there were the same developers as Ni no Kuni. It just joined all the genres I like with just the right theme.
Having said that, the game has a major critical flaw: when you consecutively jump, the legs do not switch like when jumping in Ni no Kuni. Literally unplayable!
Hopefully this is a success for Level 5 considering they're always on the edge of financial disaster.
Ответитьi never played the first one but hears good things about it
im getting this on steamdeck after work today lets go 3 day weeekend 🤩
Wow, 19/20 gameplay! 😮 Is that the highest you’ve ever given? I want to play this even more now, but I recently bought Dinkum which my whole family is now addicted to 😂 It would have been nice to have something similar to play on the Switch when my mother is playing my copy of Dinkum from my Steam library, but the fact that it’s £50 with no physical version in the west is putting me off 🫤
ОтветитьI cant condone theft so I'll be giving this one a miss I'm afraid
ОтветитьThis game looks so fun. I will be waiting patiently for the switch 2 edition though :)
ОтветитьIm like 4h away of finishing expedition 33
I think this game gonna be my next one
No coop campaign makes me sad lmao. This looks like so much fun for my partner and I to play!
ОтветитьI didn't know about this game at all until I saw it in the PS Store. I really wanna play it now.
ОтветитьOne of my favorite games of all time gets a sequel outta nowhere and I'm too broke to afford it, feels baaaad man, but I am SOOOO happy they actually did this! The 3ds game was so underrated and this sequel is such a welcome surprise. Definitely saving up for this <3
ОтветитьShane it's such a blurry mess. This sort of game really look sharper then this, even on a switch. And 30fps as well?! Love the look of the game but it'll be PS5 Pro for me for this one.
ОтветитьOnce I heard Keiji Inafune (Mighty No.) was involved at some point, I started to get worried. Then the game got pushed back, and promotion was minimal for the last year. I lowered my expectations drastically. At that point, I was just hoping to get a competent sequel. I've never been so happy to be wrong. This game was absolutely worth the wait, and it definitely lives up to the original. Also, it's great to see that so many other people feel the same way. Hopefully, that'll translate into more sequels in the future.
ОтветитьI have 38 hours on it atm and i can say this game is so much better then the Original game it's pretty insane
Ответитьinto the wish list it goes. this month's gaming money goes on the switch 2. so maybe ill get this game on switch 2 someday... but i wishlisted it on steam. so yay for that
ОтветитьLiterally just saw this in the eShop yesterday and wasn't sure I wanted to spend the money. This is a very helpful review, and looks like I'm gonna be trying this one after all!
Ответитьthis look like a time sucker game.
ОтветитьI play it on my steamdeck and I didn’t have any frame rate issues whatsoever. Waited 11 years for this game and it has taken over my life haha. This could be my GOTY.
ОтветитьI played the 3ds one so I had big expectations for this one and so far its blew me out the water. I can see spending a ton of hours in the game. My kiddos are also loving playing it.
ОтветитьTell your spurs mate that I told you!! I told you he would Be sitting playing his new switch 2 with a trophy behind him. Oh the glorious scenes! I told you! Tell him I deserve a switch 2 myself for my brilliant forecast
ОтветитьWhat controller are you rocking?
ОтветитьNever thought I'd want to try this one. I like the mix of everything. I fully thought it was just a farm sim
Ответитьthe keyboard and mouse combat is absolutely abysmal. because you can only move in the cardinal and intermediate directions with WASD its really difficult to aim at enemies correctly. it would be a lot better if you moved with WASD and aimed with the mouse. its also way too zoomed in, at least on PC.
ОтветитьThis is 93.49$CAD, not 79.99. I'm on PlayStation.
ОтветитьI understand the Life system, but I don't fully...get it. Like, I don't get the point of it. It's fine, I don't dislike it. But, you could still have the same amount of content by just allowing the player to do anything, at any time, without the class system, like other games usually handle it. You could legit have pretty much everything be the same. Even have guilds and the introduction quests. Just, instead of a skill being tied to a class, it's just a thing you can do once you have the tool. And the intro quests would be identical, just with different dialogue since you're not joining anything. You could still even rank in the guilds.
Again, I don't mind it. It's fine. I'm perfectly fine with it being in these games. But, especially since the game auto-swaps Lives for you when you go to do stuff, it just seems like an unnecessary extra step and menu.
I do agree, this game feels pretty damn good, and looks great too. And I'm on the Switch version. It legitimately could have been a first party game if I didn't know better. It has a very Link's Awakening remake vibe to it.
They need to change the 1hr timer lock for multiplayer. I want to play with my friends but this is discouraging us/players to not play or buy.
ОтветитьFantasy Life Builder
Ответитьas an MMORPG fan how i with this was MMO, but still im gonna try it.
ОтветитьI love being able to tp back to the life master or the crafting bench... such a time saver especially when you have to keep going back to farther areas early game
ОтветитьThe camera angles kills me
ОтветитьLoved the first one. Really wished they didn't cancel the physical version outside Japan.
ОтветитьAh man i spent 500 hours on the first. But Im saving for the switch two.
ОтветитьWhat about the mini games for crafting? That was the only thing I didnt liked about the original game, imo They were too repetitive.
ОтветитьCan this game be paired on Switch 2? Do you the need to pay 10 $ to upgrade the game to Switch 2?
ОтветитьIs there a single player story/campaign or is it more like a stardew valley where u just do whatever u want with some abstract goals?
ОтветитьWith around 500 hours on 3DS, I was skeptical at first, but pleasantly surprised!
ОтветитьLevel 5 never disappoints. I want more Ni No Kuni
Ответить(Wonder is hunter still as busted as in the original) Man I loved this game on my 3dsxl played it everywhere!
ОтветитьI have been following you guys for a long time, and as a 30+year old, I love seeing reviews that my partner and myself would love to play. Thank you for another great video
ОтветитьWhat joycon are you using?
ОтветитьIt's an incredibly refined sequel to the 3DS original. And I'm really happy how Level 5 is constantly communicating further improvements planned for the game to touch things up and how there are plans for DLC down the line.
ОтветитьFantastic video even including things like voiceacting, which can be deceptively hard to find. How to if it's partial or full and to what extent.
ОтветитьI'm already juggling Doom, Clair Obscur, KCD1 in preparation for KCD2 which I got for my birthday AND Switch 2 is coming, which means I'll insert replaying Breathe of the Wild(then Tears) in GLORIOUS 4K 60fps HDR. So, yeah.
Also, bro, if you think you're old now, you'll look like Cranky Kong when you get to MY age!
