This is really interesting. I never thought people at flir were interested in using thermal cameras for photographic images. But this setup is far from consumer accessibility. I want to do high resolution images with my phone, but 80x60 LWIR with high fov can't do anything. 725 pixels per degree, when I have 2
Ответитьgreat that this man was thinking outside the box for flir, they are lucky to have him. sounds like a dream job, using high tech for art. of course nowadays, only 2 years later. all of what he described in his process could be achieved with a drone, some machine learning, a couple google cloud compute instances, and an afternoon. What would be really interesting however, would be to use an algo like neual-enhance to blast a 32mp image to 10x the size, while capturing a drone programmed circuit run, to make an animated time lapse "panorama" of a POI. but that requires money.
ОтветитьNice technique. I always wandering why couldn't people put those sensor together and make it a larger sensor. I personally own a seek compact pro thermal imager that is 320 x 240 pixels with around 1/2.5" sensor size. I think if the manufacture can pack four such sensors together, then we can get around 1280 x 960. The resolution can be even higher with more of this sensors.
