You have to know so little about ancient Egypt to believe these pyramids werent all built in the same era. And if you dispute that Khufu built the great pyramid you're just ignorant. There is undeniable proof, we have a literal contemporary written record to verify it. Its possible the attribution of all 3 to Sneferu is incorrect but to suggest they were more than a few decades either side of the accepted date is just idiotic.

So the bent and the red pyramids have stelae in their mortuary temples outside with the picture and name of sneferu, however the stela at medium although well preserved are completely blank - the reason sneferu is attributed to it is due to his name being literally the only name of any pharaoh found anywhere in the complex. Maybe it was the father of sneferu, huni, who started it and then it was finished by sneferu. We may never know.

Brilliant video and tour. I think you expose the absurdity of some assumptions made by the establishment regarding their greatest treasures. The bent pyramid was unquestionably deliberate, a confident and even bold architectural statement. You just don't build an eternal monument to failure. Literally a monumental fuck up!

I remember hearing Hakim Awyan say in a documentary that the names like sneferu were not even names but descriptions that meant things like double harmony in the old coptic. I believe he was referring to the bent pyramid and that it had two angles on purpose and the name was a clue to the function rather than a builder. That man was the real treasure of Egypt!

I don't want to tell you people what to think but, look at the first structure we mistakenly call the pyramids. Go there and look at it and think perspective. Then look at pictures of the pyramid with the water reflecting another perspective. He was showing a perspective of something he saw. Repetition is the clue you all miss. Till he got it perfect. The building of these pyramids is actually quite a simple process. I think most of the questions that people have in this video on accessibility can be answered simply by how they are actually built and what their intentions were as monuments.

The Steele on the pyramid of jhoser was left blank and the only reason it's attributed towards sneferu was because of some crude graffiti on the backside of the temple. That leaves two pyramids for him. The bent and the red. Cracking and foundational instability found at the bent show that it wasn't an ideal pyramid. So that could explain why we see the 3 pyramids attributed to Sneferu
