It can be so tough to be up 2, then lose 2. Winning this match may just be what the US team needs when the going gets even tougher in the days to come. Germany played great, congrats to the team and the German fans. A heartbreaker to lose for sure. Glad we pulled it together against a team playing so well. (Geez these guys can PLAY. Everyone knows how great the volleyball has been this tournament. Just wanted to point out NBC Olympic coverage leaves a lot to be desired. Ads on streaming services are one thing. But the network itself cutting to commercial during actual play time is crazy. Running a 120 second ad spot at the end of a time out is just saying the quiet part out loud—they want money and don’t care how much they kill the experience to make it. There is a lot of innovation, good coverage, and user experience improvement we are missing bc NBC has no real competition. Break NBC monopoly on the Olympic coverage or people will start getting more creative and flock to international streams via VPN
