Brahman is self-knowledge or self-luminous but it is subjected to avdiya - logical fallacy.

Universe of diversity and its activities does not exist. It is just illusion like fake snake. What is there to reconcile fake snake with real rope?
Seer of the fake snake also does not exist. Why talk of reconcile?
If you want to reconcile karma and jnana,
Just give up shankaracharya .
There are other acharyas of vedanta.
Ramanujacharya
Madhvacharya
Vallabhacharya

To follow their philosophy , no need for one to give up shiva or shakthi.
