لا تضرب المسلم

Offering prayer on the chair is not at all allowed in Islam. It resembles to the concept of Jews and Christianity where they people offer prayer sitting on the chair 🪑. It’s always advised to sit down in the floor and offer prayers or those who cannot sit down have to lie down the floor and can offer prayer but not in the chair .
