Sixteen years on and they are all still high profile players in the NHL so it would be fair to say that they have all enjoyed very successful careers. Considering that the average span of a player lasting in the NHL is approximately 5-7 years, Thornton, Marleau & Luongo have all gone way beyond that and achieved some good things in their respective careers. Well done fellas!

All 3 lost the Stanley cup though hopefully joe and Patrick can still get one since luuu is retired now
