That's Not the correct way to build a rollcage. you start with the main hoop like you did, but the next bar should be the roof hoop. It should run from the main hoop forward to the top of the windshield then across the front. and back to the main hoop on the other side in a U like the main hoop is, Then you put in the bar from the front of the roof hoop down to the floor on each side Then you put in the dash bar. that makes up the main cage then you add door bars and support bars to strengthen the chassis.

Recent subscriber here. Loving the Ghia (because Ghias are cool!). A bit of constructive critisism from a former rally racer: Since you have the bender, the roof is cut off, etc., I'd redo the connecting bar at the top of the wind screen. Add a small bend on each end, so it can curve up into the roof line and out towards the wind screen a little bit. Just gives you that tad bit more visibility, and also it is actually stronger and safer to have that bit of a "crown" to the top of the cage. If you were to land on the roof, it counters the forces that could make to top collapse. Plus it looks cooler for a reasonbly small amount of work :). Don't know what the rules and regulations you are building to might say exactly, but an X in the roof, main hoop and possibly some door bars may be in you horizon as well. X in the roof is best made with "a crown" as well for clearance to helmet. X in hoop and most door bar designs have to be in a single plane though.
