Lunar & 2 Eternal Blue are remakes of the Mega CD / Sega CD games. I fell in love with Lunar on Sega CD and it definitely was a stand-out game amongst the RPG titles on that platform ! Also, both the Lunar and the Grandia series were developed by Game Arts in Japan. :) anywho. I hear what you are saying about Lunar, but I, for one, love the series , but likely it's because I was introduced to the original games on a system that had limited RPGs and Lunar was just what was needed at the time!
