This seems like the obnoxiously giant pedal the bass player brings to band practice and only uses 1 setting or is siper annoying constantly fiddling with knovs rhe whole time not finding a good sound..
ОтветитьOMG THEY FINALLY RELEASED THE ME90 FOR BASSISTS!!!
ОтветитьI got a boss ME50B as a Christmas gift back in 2010. I still keep it for sentimental reasons. I got a boss GT1000 core in 2021 and it sounds awesome but sometimes it takes time to dial it in.
This unit seems easy to dial in and I like the fact that it's for bass instead of the GT1000 core which it's primarily for guitar Wich a few bass FX added.
It looks like a lot of fun.
ОтветитьBoss rules ❤❤❤❤
ОтветитьInteressante. Aqui no Brasil não chegou ainda eu acho.
ОтветитьNice!! Yet another great guitar processor I cant afford to own.
Keep em coming
finally i can replace my dying ME-50b
ОтветитьMan, it's a shame, that the design is still from the 80s... :D Othervise nice concept. Boss always delivers.
ОтветитьWhat were the settings in that into riff?
ОтветитьHad me hooked in at the first preset. Wow.
ОтветитьDowngraded from a GT-1000 to an ME-90 and use it every day. The A-I-R-D engine is a huge upgrade from the ME-80. Love BOSS. Great review. Best Regards and Best Wishes!.
ОтветитьIncredible! Very impressive! Best Bass multi effect since the Boss GT-6B!
ОтветитьDo you still have the fenders precisions made in mexico??
ОтветитьBlend Knob is especially impressive to me. I also wonder how it would sound like with acoustic bass guitar, together with acoustic preamp and acoustic simulator.
ОтветитьI have a Boss GT-1B, which can do pretty much the same thing including getting lost in the abyss of the menu. To upgrade my gear GAS I went for an HX Stomp. Together with the hx edit software you can create almost everything on the fly (without getting lost in the menu of the Stomp)
Ответить“Weird dude energy”…… search it
ОтветитьI've been waiting for this since the release of the guitar version. Affordable AIRD for bass? I'm in.
ОтветитьIncomprehensible front panel, at this point might as well make it a desktop FX module.
Boss just seems like "old music gear you find in your uncle's closet" aesthetics, even in 2024
Strange design choice.
Getting back into bass . Not sure about this ,as I have the ME-8B and Zoom B3 . When I purchased the ME8-B it was complicated back in 1996. I also have the Roland Bass Microcibe RX which is good playing at home . I don't play in bands anymore ,so I may not need this 😊
ОтветитьWhy am I watching this? I can't even afford dinner.
ОтветитьHad ME50B and it was awesome. Actually it still is and by seeing this, nostalgia hits hard. Btw, I wish they would release Defretter as separate pedal.
ОтветитьThank God they didn't use those fucking silver dots. I hate them haha.
ОтветитьI've had the boss gt1b since it came out and this is the time where I can say I understand it now hahahah so this new boss pedal Will be a lot easier to use
ОтветитьBass players who like jako are losers
ОтветитьWhat happens when it breaks
ОтветитьYeah... nice... if you need an amp, a filter and mod. If you want chorus, flanger, delay and shimmer... bye, bye, baby...
ОтветитьI have the ME90 for guitar, it is a brilliant system. Grossly underrated
If you are into traditional boss pedals, this is the way to go
A friend of mine is blind and has an awful time with modern pedal boards because of the all digital interfaces. This will be perfect for him.
ОтветитьOoooh. Maybe I have an upgrade path from my Boss GT-6B.
ОтветитьNo aux input unusable
ОтветитьThis duded right-hand vibrato is insane.
Ответить$400 is a great price point for this, considering the cost of Boss’ pedals separately. I’ll be getting this soon
ОтветитьAny idea what WAV file formats are supported in the IR loader for loading your own Impulse Reponses into the 3 user slots in the BOSS Tone Sudio? The manuals have no details and at the moment I'm using trial and error with different formats for various 3rd party Bass IR packs, all unsuccessfully.
ОтветитьSomething else I've learned as I delved deeper... This is a minor thing, but if you are trying to setup a delay with a VERY specific ms timing (e.g. to match backing track/sequence with specific tempo), the ME-90B only lets you set Delay Time in 10ms increments, e.g. 440ms, 450ms, 460ms, etc. So if you have a song with 116bpm tempo and want a matching 464ms delay - you can't :(
ОтветитьHow do I adjust its noise suppressor tho?
Bc it's in the effects chain, but the manual says absolutely nothing about adjusting its treshold
I assume that this has a tuner built in?
ОтветитьYou were great in 'Help'!
ОтветитьAUX input would have been better than usb or bluetooth
Ответить
Can you use this with a power amp?
ОтветитьIs it capable of having both the compressor and the octaver switched on at the same time?
ОтветитьIs the sound quality as good as in the GX100? Also same processor? I’m really considering to replace my GX with ME-90B because of the easy way to dial in the tones and effects..
ОтветитьNext on Caveman Multi Effects; with Bluetooth device control, user presets, insertable effects loop, tuner, battery capabilities, only 195mA, USB to editing software.
I'll bet there is a way to get your compressor and the octave in there somewhere and I think you can inport IR cabinet sims, too?
I ordered and hope I can dump my Two Notes Opus IR library or at least a couple of cab sims into this. Having a pedalboard garage sale and using this small dynamic board.
TWEAK ALL THE KNOBS!!1
ОтветитьDo I have do the funny fish face to use the unit
ОтветитьI've never had a multi effect pedal. I don't know how to use it.
ОтветитьHey Gregor. Wie gehts? Great video as usual! How do you feel this compares with the Zoom B6. I’m trying to decide between the two. I know that the interfaces are different but I would like to know how they compare with regards to tones. Danke
ОтветитьWhat about a comparison of this with the Zoom MS60B+ and maybe the B6 as well? And why not toss in the Quad Cortex as well, on the other end of the price spectrum.
I realize this is largely an infomercial channel, looking to advertise/sell whatever gets plugged, but a true comparison would be good, especially with the good players on this channel.
I was looking to get this for my daughter. I know nothing about bass, does the gx 100 or gx10 do the same as this would? I just didn’t know if there’s a difference between guitar and bass effects stuff.
