Do not under any circumstances move the butterfly valve/plate if it is electronically controlled. If you do, you will break it and then the only fix is a new throttle body. The guy doing the demo is a salesman and does not know this but he blabs anyways. The chemical is good, the demo is nonsense.

Why can't you use it on a turbo? The throttle body and intake manifold is after the turbo and intercooler...

Hello, I have a 2016 Mazda 6 i touring 2.5L i recently just used this CRC throttle body cleaner while my engine was running I had my friend spraying it in the throttle the same way it’s sprayed in the video while I was revving it at 2000 RPM for about 2 mins steady to clean it out the engine light was on but I thought it was because the MAF sensor and the air intake were out after assembling everything back together I still have a engine light code with P0421 Warm-Up Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold (Bank 1). Could that affect My Cat system ? And would I need to get it replaced I got it diagnosed at the dealership they want me to change the O2 sensors and the cat converter. But it just doesn’t make sense why would cleaning the throttle body Mess my cat converter

Manually moving the TB may damage the gears and position sensors. Your results may vary...

I used it today while my throttle body was still connected to my manifold I think I sprayed a lot it just idle very rough and sounds like my car is cammed will it damage my engine or should I wait a couple hours to start it again?

The throttle bkdy spray cleaner will burn off and evaporate.

Getting ready to do the intake valve and turbo cleaner. Then I read the fine print. I assumed this would also clean the intake. I guess I'll get the whole kit next time. 😅
