HK got it right back in the day. I love my AP5-P. My CMMG roller delayed upper is a very close 2nd but the MP5 still wins the day in my opinion. The HK slap is where it's at.

Kuna is way better than the DD, it's not even remotely close. Flow thru can won't dirty the mags also. Made in America doesn't matter either, just give me quality. MP5 is on a different level, shouldn't even be compared.

My DD PCC doesn't have the trigger guard built in. Just uses standard AR Pistol grips.

I think the Lucansky Stinger 9mm will be the best option. Better controls, lighter, less expensive, more modular, better trigger, excellent cheap mags,

I got a Kuna and put on the Huxwrks flow 9k ti and it is a great combo, the flow through suppressor takes care of the gas issue.

I'd rather have a nice MP5 clone for far less money.

The DD PCC is not the same as this. It's just simple blowback AR, and way too expensive at that.
The Kuna is way closer to the Stribog. CZ Scorpion. Maybe the MP5 or MPX if you have more money to spend.

Get a samson bufferless folding receiver with a sb3 brace for the kuna. You save $100 buying the kuna without the stock brace and put it towards the better option. Also for 350 nexus has reserves for their scorpion lower that accepts ar triggers and safeties. So if you get the kuna without the brace 900, 150 for for the samson, 35 for the knock off sba3 brace that is better then the original, and 350 for the lower, 100 for a really nice trigger, 65 for a safety. That puts you all in 1600. For a mp5 clone you are looking at 1200, then a utg rail and handguard for 230, for a lee lower with better triggger and safety you are looking at 700. So mp5 you are all in 2130. Daniel Defense you are starting at 2k. I think the daniel is the least appealing out of all of them, i mean why not just get a mpx and get some kind of delayed system instead of the blow back if you are starting at the 2k amount?

According to the 5 dealers in my area I went to Springfields selling more Stribogs and mp5 clones than kunas because none of them can get any and can't get an answer about when they will .

Add a JP5 to the comparison. The best PCC that I’ve owned/fired.

MP5 is forever, and that cheap Kuna will be forgotten in a year....

MP5 is much better. Run them, accuracy test them, torture test them.... and before the people that don't train come into the comments.... if all you are is going to say the price without justification... get a PTR clone, MKE, etc etc for 800-900 and shut up. 😂
And no.... those are not the quality of the HK. The resale alone on the HK makes up for it honestly. I paid 1700 for mine 15 years ago. I could sell it tomorrow for 2500. And it has 6k rounds through it

Had the same problem with can on Kuna. So what did I do ? I bought 8 more mags, as they are damn cheap, to rotate them more frequently. I'm stupid where I should have just stopped using the silencer. Since I stopped using can, not a single problem with the mags, but at least I have 10 of them now. 😆

Daniel Defense shouldn't even be in the running. Its direct blowback on an ar-9. Thats about as basic as it gets compared to the roller delay superiority. But hey some ppl need to justify their worth by overpaying for a brand like Daniel Defense even though you can basically get a PSA for dare i say identical performance. Get out of here with this garbage comparison

All those are awesome but you're missing a solid contender. Cmmg dissent MKG9mm. 6.5" barrel, radial delayed blowback, compact action, folding brace/stock, come with great trigger & uses Glock mags. Runs excellent with a can on it!

For the price of an MP5, I bought a Kuna, silencer and tax stamp, an optic, light, hand stop, sling, and a case, and 1,000 rounds of subsonic 9mm. The MP5 is great, but in terms of value, the Kuna wins.

10mm would be so clutch in these but the Stribog is so rail thick I would love to see Daniel an Luna offer 10mm because we know HK don’t like us enough to give us what we want lol

Ap5 does it for me, reasonable price and a pretty good clone.

I’ve owned most all of the popular 9mm PCC’s over a dozen models.

None of them sucked and I had zero reliability issues with them.


That said I’ll take a MP5’or good clone everyday now.

I will never buy another blow back AR style 9mm PCC after owning MP5’s now. I’m just picky now.

Smoother, quieter suppressed, proven AK like reliability , great balance/design in SBR from.

Everyone has different taste Mp5 just best meets my personal needs in a 9mm PCC.

There's a lower coming out for the Kuna that can run AR FCG's and CZ scorpion mags.... kinda a game changer... worth a re-visit?

Nexus Firearms is selling an aluminum lower for the Kuna that converts it to scorpion mags, AR15 safety, AR15 trigger, and AR pistol grip. You can order it directly since the upper is the serialized part . Add the cost of the lower, new trigger and grip to the gun and it's still probably a little cheaper than the Daniel. Seems like a good choice if you want/need the smallest gun possible. But seriously, who wouldn't want an MP5?

almost 70 years later, the MP5 is STILL King. And the price reflects it.... Kuna certainly looks like the best value.
