is this the complete audibook? I see that it is 6 hours 19 mins on audible, but with a different narrator, Philip Madoc.

One of my favourite books as a young reader. At boarding school in rural West Yorkshire this book set my imagination racing and helped me escape. Loved reading ever since. Thank you.

It's an odd mixture of Stoke & Yorkshire accents, but enjoyable nonetheless

As a child I used to cycle from Macclesfield to Alderly edge playing in the caves knicking apples from farmers trees and the summers were hot .. when I eventually found this book it made me want to read it at any moment that was free. Thank you for this audio book 😊👊👊

First hear this read by a primary school teacher. It has stayed with me since. It in a subtle way shaped my life as now I have a keen interest in historical mystery and myth surrounding the UK.
