The whole premise of this film was really interesting, besides that, the Film felt undoubtly long and without any kind of music, felt flat. A Soundtrack would have helped a lot and some scenes should have bon shortened, even if I understand the idea of giving is such long shots, but whenever it hit dialouge, It felt profound and over the top artificial in a wrong way.

I watched this with low expectations and ended up really enjoying it. Is it fun and feel-good? No. And there are no explosions or jokes. The plot won't be explained to you throughout. But if you're ok with that, I actually recommend giving it a chance.

This is a horrible movie especially for such a young actress at the time (yes, I know she was an adult when she made the film), that looks like a 13 yr old. Was this made for the elite like epstein? These independent movies are always borderline pedophilia.

3rd November 2021 and this has just come up in my Netflix feed but reading the short movie bio it sounds extremely iffy with words "takes a job to be fondled and handled by strangers whilst sedated" and though i'm far from prudish this sounds like someone's creepy fantasy that should be in a different section but I stand to be corrected. Reading reviews here is a mixed bag so I may well take Buddy down to the beach and skip this one 🙃

Mika ( the composer from "Jackie") would have been a phenomenal addition to the score!! It would have added that much more intensity! The film is ambiguous but it's not bad. Emily is a great actress. All the screen players did good.

the reviews here is so bad but i do think its not that bad. Emily did a great job giving life to the character even tho the charavter she is playing is so dull and lifeless. it was also hard for me to understand what is happening and i watched it with no subtitles so even way worser but the movie does exude a kind of vibe that is different and unique. odd and strange movie but somehow this really happens in reality. its disturbing but who knows maybethe narration and creation of the movie meant more than what we could think and realize of. they say do not waste your time in this movie but i say that if you are such movie lover and is an explorer slash open minded ans curious about the world, go watch it. the actress is really stunning and talented too

This movies definitely not for someone who enjoys flashy big loud Hollywood movies. I personally loved the movie, the cinematography was fantastic great actors no music like in real life the story is quite dark and psychological. If you like Kubrick films you’ll probably like this. I had a friend who was a prostitute when I was younger her stories haunt me to this day and this really reminded me of her. The director did a great job reflecting what it’s like for a young girl who has no family struggling financially vulnerable lost and made to feel like she is nothing but flesh slowly breaking down and ends up in a bad situation. The sick elites were well played. Very raw movie. Just wanted to leave a comment this doesn’t deserve the bad reviews I would love to see more from this director.

Me encantó esta película, pero obviamente no es para todo el mundo. En lo particular a mi me gustan este estilo de filmes, lentas, perturbadoras, con historias realmente interesantes y que te dejan pensando. Ademas Emily Browning es una linda actriz, siempre me han gustado sus trabajos como Una serie de eventos desafortunados o Las hermanas malditas creo que se llamaba.
