IF THAILAND BUFFET IS MORE APPRECIATED.....AND CHEAPER.....WHY YOU BOTHER TO HAVE BUFFET HERE ❗️❗️❓️❓️❓️❓️
WHEN YOU ARE IN ANOTHER COUNTRY.....THEN LEARN TO APPRECIATE THE THINGS AND FOOD IN THAT COUNTRY❗️❗️❗️
STOP COMPARING WHAT YOU HAVE IN THAILAND ---- THEN LEAVE PLEASE ❗️❗️❗️
STAY IN YOUR COUNTRY.....DONT TRAVEL ❗️❗️❗️❗️
If you understand what real food should be, you'd cook your own. The variety looks good but all the food are cooked with veg oil. If you know what damage veg oil does to your health, you'd be going back to eat saturated fats. The prawns are most likely farmed prawns that are fed antibiotics to keep diseases at bay. The sweet section is full of sugar! He keeps eating like this, he will be eating himself to diabetes and heart issues later in life.
ОтветитьThe food looks good but it ruins my memories of going to Swensen's in America as a kid.
ОтветитьMay all your wishes come true in your heart feeling soul life and death
ОтветитьToo disappointing, they increased the price and yet most of the food is below average standard, only laksa and mee siam can meet average standard.
They get people to post on social media about their nice and above average food, but reality is not true. Or did Swenson's standard drop after the social media postings?
Staff were telling other customers how the business has declined, and that's why she was standing and talking instead of working when there were quite a handful of customers around.
From her speech, the Swenson's staff also discriminate individual customer who dine alone.
Been subscribed for some time after viewing a few of your videos of buffets in Korea and Japan, it’s convenient you include the Google Maps link so I can save it for eventual travel plans.
Appreciate your down to earth, genuine personality and calming demeanour.
Notice you mentioned the buffet was near your hotel; just out of curiosity, where and which hotel did you stay during your visit to Singapore and why did you choose to stay there if you don’t mind me asking?
I’m guessing sentosa island or perhaps the cbd? Next time if you want better value and a difference experience you can consider the heartlands like East Coast/Marine Parade or Joo Chiat area (lots of good food but not many mid-tier hotels in Joo Chiat but East Coast/Marine Parade area has plenty. You can enjoy a quick walk to the beach and plenty of good local food around the Marine Parade/Joo Chiat area. Also because of how connected Singapore is, getting to and from cbd and across Singapore would still be quick and easy when staying in the heartlands if you want a different perhaps more local experience than staying at the cbd and sentosa which is a rather touristy place. The mrt, busses and taxis are exceptionally cheap and convenient especially with how intertwine the mrt and many stations so it’s still convenient to stay outside the city area and enjoy a different perspective of Singapore (and often better food within walking distance. The city area would be pricier and not often the best local food per se)
Looking forward to checking your other SG videos.

Took a while to finish the video given when it’s too long I spit it up and watch bits by bit. Notice earlier one comment mentioned that buffets in Thailand were cheaper - but it’s worth considering the safety and food safety of a first world country vs a developing nation. (Nothing wrong with developing nations but just less rule of law and safety)
The ice cream is typically considered mid to upscale tier similar in brand value and hence pricing akin to movenpick by marche. (Albeit nothing really spectacular, it’s not bad.) On a whole paying $35 for all you can eat with their ice cream is actually a pretty good deal especially given the location at vivocity which is a very touristy location (and typically pricy mall) right across from Sentosa Island. Added with the wide variety of local and international dishes, it’s quite a good deal when comparing apples to apples. When you have infrastructure, rule of law, stability and economic freedoms you typically foster growth and with that gdp and with that inflation and with that higher cost of living. Hence it’s hard to make a fair comparison between Singapore and Thailand (which I personally wouldn’t go because of safety concerns and rule of law even if the food is cheap). Singapore is considered a first world country as many have pointed out compared to developing country with less regulation and lower costs perhaps.
