such a small video yet feels like learned so muchhh
ОтветитьIt’s like being one of those people with the orange light up batons on the airport runways, though, instead of directing the flow of planes, you are directing the flow of the viewers attention 👏
Ответитьi dint have the funds for film school..then i found u guys. i have learnd alot, i'm so greateful
ОтветитьFabulous breakdown . Thanks 🙂
ОтветитьBeautiful, but I missed more examples for each of those techniques.
ОтветитьThis is worth a million dollars. Thank you
ОтветитьFYI there is a zolly shoot in Cocteau's Les Enfants Terribles which predated Vertigo by 8 years.
Ответить"Ask yourself one important question : do you have INSURANCES?!"
And that's all there is to say about it, folks.
Hey Studiobinders, You people are deliberately creating good Film Technicians. Thanks for the worthy illustrations.
ОтветитьThis narrator is awful - replacing so many T's with D's. So desperately wants to have an American accent.
ОтветитьThanks make this good video. From Pakistan.
ОтветитьCant find an answer to that, maybe someone can help. Is there a rule when mixing shot with movement and a static shot?
Does the movement need come to a stop (ease in) before cutting to static shot. Or othewise keeping the movement in the next shot...
awesome
ОтветитьNice work, great video.
ОтветитьI have always been interested in using the rack focus better I never knew a name for it or how/when to use it. thank you so much this video was very helpful !!
ОтветитьThis is gold, Jerry, gold!
ОтветитьBackground musics are awesome. Can you share us the links... ??
ОтветитьI'll add some point camera movement directly proprotional to character emotion example if the charecter feel lonely slow movement will helpful ,anxiety handheld fast ,fight sceen run fast .....sudden dramatic change like party scene to murder scene slight shake and changing charecter side so much thing in camera movement
ОтветитьDo you have insurance? 😂
Ответить"Think about what you want the audience to focus on in each shot and why it serves the story? Then think about what devices and movements can help you achieve that" I will keep this in mind always, logical movement. Thank you very much.
ОтветитьGreat video!!!
ОтветитьNice
Ответитьdo you have insurance? lol
Ответитьthis channel deserves lots of support! love your hard work and thank you for teaching me a lot about filmmaking
ОтветитьAnyone else watching this for sixth form tasks?
ОтветитьGreat music for this video
ОтветитьGreat video. What is it called when you just hold the camera, no tripod, just minimal movement?
Ответитьgreat idear indeed
Ответитьthis is horrible! this is why you cannot produce a great movie - because you listen to what you feel, what you do, what you see! you are not machines, you have hearts beating inside of your chests!!! if so - there will be no soul in films only tricks from videos, no real involvement but scullery! disastr!
ОтветитьAre there some rules not to do when combining shots? 3 sequential zoom-in shots are ok as long they serve the story and attention?
What about "pumping" - zoom in, zoom out, zoom in?
Does zoom in the shot have to be slowly stopped by the next zoom in, but eased out slowly stop to be continued by a steady shot?
So many questions? :)
