That said, I really hope that there is a way to watch this other than Netflix lol. I canceled my subscription there sometime ago, I hate that platform, and I have no desire to return to it.

I know CDPR loves trying out new things but I really hope this will be done by Studio Trigger again. Cyberpunk and Trigger's style just blend well together, and I think their companies already have good rapport with one another knowing that R. Talsorian, CDPR, and Trigger worked together again on the Edgerunners Mission Kit on Cyberpunk Red

Not that I lost any interest in cyberpunk 2077 ever, but this really does get me back in the game and finally bout to get the expansion finally too. It's time to return

Probably going to be a one season standalone story just like Edgerunners. All new characters, with maybe some easter eggs.

Excited for any cyberpunk content.

I hope they continue Lucy and David's story, there is so much more to explore with those two characters and the ending of season one set up a lot of possibilities for the future in terms of ideas.

I wonder if this new feature will incorporate parts of Phantom Liberty? I'd say it's a good possibility... Just my opinion, though.

I want to be excited, but we all know its not going to be what any of us wanted.

It would be cool to see a corpo revenge story. Or something from the perspective of ncpd or medtech?

this is cool and all, but i'm really worried cd projekt red will lean far far left in the future. the game and the world is fine just as it is now. it catered to all walks of life, but after their last couple moves im worried some feel as if it wasn't enough. please cdpr don't give in

The story is about 2077. The crossover. Cyberpunk and Fallout 2077. Same year.

The problem with the Cyberpunk genre is that it has such a huge focus on the loss of the self, and that usually comes with the loss of life (selling out to a corp, dying in a fantastic fashion trying to escape poverty or gain notoriety, etc.). For that reason I really, really hope neither David nor V return for any future projects. David’s story has a definite end and V’s is determinant but no option looks hopeful. More stories fleshing out the world would be fantastic even if they’re flashbacks expanding on nomad clans, netrunners, corp war or South American conflict stories, or anything else that goes beyond Night City

If it’s Netflix then idc. It will suck. Netflix sucks.

Hope they learn from concord but i guess all of those companies have to lose the money themselfs before changing.
DEI free games will be coming out early 2030 ties. till than one can only watch and enjoy the shit show.

I finished listening to Rafal Kosik - 2023 - Cyberpunk 2077꞉ No Coincidence (Sci-Fi) audio book voiced by Cherami Leigh V's voice and listening to Matthew A. Goodwin - 2022 - A Cyberpunk Saga꞉ Box Set, Books 1-3 (Thriller) right now and I man they are amazing! they have huge protentional for a new series! specially Matthew A. Goodwin it's a Corpo Cyberpunk story very cool so far!

Would be cool to have new characters but perhaps some side characters we know also appear, as a subtle hint or maybe just to show how connected some people are in Night City.

This could make for example, have Reed show up a few times as if its placed before he had met V.
Just to throw in an idea.
