Back in the 20th century 2 items were considered essential staples for first- aid; 1) was the U.S. Bureau of Mines First Aid Manual (considered to be the best and most advanced first -aid) and 2) the "Home Nursing Handbook" put out free by the Metropolitan Life Ins. Co. This contained info on how to take care of an ill family member, both physically as well as psychologically. Both excellent books, and both have been reprinted.

The asmr of this is extremely satisfying, this video deserves more views.
