Still no navigation eh. And the bike is as uncomfortable in 2024 aw it was it was in 2021. Dont worry i have one, its a unique bike but damn honda makes it impossible to upgrade and this bike is shit without ergonomic upgrades

None of the Rebels is really convincing for me, the look is totally uninspired and awful. The exhaust pipe of the 1100 is a joke. The smaller ones are not agile enough, no match for the comparable Kawasakis. My Shadow has to do the job for the time being.

Great info thanks. I did get my 2023 Rebel1100T DCT in Dec. I've ridden it a few times when the weather was nice. I do love it. It took me a little time to get use to the bike doing it's own thing, That might be "control issues" on my part.... But when I went out and just relaxed it was great. plenty of get up and go. I can't wait for the weather to get nice again and get out and ride. So happy I went with the rebel.. Thanks again.

Nice concept, but I'm still getting used to the automatic transmission. I personally like using the clutch, especially in slow speed turning situations.

No, that's not how that works. It's not like a handbrake on a car. You can actually ride with that on. It's a small brake on the back so that when you park on an incline, the bike will not roll. So if you sit on your bike, with brake on and put it in drive, you will take off. It's only there for when you park so stop rolling. BTW that's exactly my bike...I love that blue color

Just wanted to say thank you again for these reviews on the Rebels. My dream bike is and always has been an Indian Scout/Bobber. The Rebel will be my blessed learner. How long do you estimate they will last a responsible rider?

This bike is basically deacon st John's bike from Days Gone.

No after market support and DCT make this bike a big “No”. Too bad they discontinued the 1100 Shadow.

Honda forgot that a Kruiser requires a COMFORTABLE footrest position with an open knee angle! The footrests are ugly, stick out and positioned too far back, too uncomfortable! A knockout criterion!

They need to make DCT available in the 600CC version of this. 10K is a still expensive for most 1st time riders.

Whats this fool talking about? It's 81hp, 68tq. It's a typical over weight under powered Honda like my Goldwing. The DCT does not have a launch control or a slipper clutch. And there is no such thing as manual control even if in manual mode. The computer will never give up control because Honda is the queen winch of nannyism. Go buy a Yamaha MT-09 900cc triple, better suspension, brakes, 6 axis imu, lighter by 103lb, 117hp 69tq and a great quick shifter. That bike is a true turd....

But we can't get something like that for $10k in Indonesia 😢

You forgot one thing yes just got a cruise control, but it doesn’t have inertial measurement unit, which is a big deal. You don’t want this thing shifting as you’re going through a corner not good. The Goldwing has a unit.

I'm looking at buying one. The only DCT experience I have is with a Super Cub and it felt a bit jerky, is it smoother on a bigger bike? It's only like $600 difference for standard and DCT so it's not gonna kill me to do standard, but I'd like to have a bike that can be ridden by a newbie if I'm unable to ride/move it for whatever reason.
