Biltwell Gringo S - The Best Budget Helmet?

I definitely like the looks of the gringo but it just seemed a little too flimsy for me. Probably safe enough for short slow trips around town. I got a good deal on my lanesplitter and felt a little better about the protection.

I feel like a jerk. I thought I was already subscribed. Fixed that. I have the regular gringo I rock with a bubble shield. And I’m the same way about wanting lots of helmets to swap out. The gringo is hands down one of the most comfortable helmets that I own. I just hate how my chin ever so slightly pokes out from the bottom. But otherwise great starter gear for sure.

Love the video but don't blast the music at the beginning

I love this thing. Really the only FF I've seen that looks at home on a cruiser. Might want to look into removing the visor and rocking goggles as though it were a non-s. I dig the flat shield, but a lot of people like using goggles.

Can you tell us how dark it’s the chrome for afternoon no sun dusk ? Reason I ask it’s because I had the gold chrome bubble in the bonanza and you could use it at night no problem but I’ve heard the chrome silver it’s darker it’s a shame they don’t sell the gold bubble for gringo s anymore.

Also what do you do when you get caught outside and need to ride home with this chrome shield at night ? do you pull up the visor and drive with clear glasses ? Does it whistle ?
