Dump pouches are seriously underrated
ОтветитьI was wondering if anyone else was thinking about adding a patrol size pack to their main ruck. I don't do this ordinarily, but have decided to do so if I have need. Thanks for the grab handle clip idea.
ОтветитьI love pack covers, I can get a black pack and use it and not look like a weirdo but once it’s time for larping PACK COVER!
Ответитьis that a hyperlite? i have the z packs arc blast. its a great pack. was originally going to get the hyperlite
ОтветитьThe one thing about that setup is you can't take super heavy items and secure them. Full ammo cans, quartered up deer, broken m240b. A framed pack is heavier but you always have the capability to take almost anything you want as you go and in SHTF that's a big deal.
ОтветитьAIM HIGH!
ОтветитьAnyone know where you can get a camo pack cover like that except not the overpriced one in the video
ОтветитьDrive on. Thanks for the video brother! 🥃🍻🍝🪂😁👍🏻🏴☠️🇺🇸
Ответитьyou should charge IDK $1k or whatevr and take a friend Campin/ training
ОтветитьThank you for not mentioning that amateur clothing outfit in Bozeman.
ОтветитьI swear to God, weren't you the one just a year ago telling us how imperative it was to buy a pack that weighs 1 lb less for $200 more and that we simpletons who don't 'hike 20 miles a day' just don't get it. LMFAO.
ОтветитьYes! That one. Unsubscribing now. 🫡
ОтветитьWhat Chest Rig is that?
ОтветитьGood thoughts! Never thought of using a (wet) poncho as a pack cover but why the hell not?
ОтветитьYou consistently put out some of the best gear videos on the internet.
Ответить50 bucks for a dump pouch? 😵💫
ОтветитьFirst thing that came to mind as you described your mods and potential uses of your pack(s), I thought of my favorite pack; The Eberlestock Skycrane 2. Blue Force 10 speed gear is awesome, love everything I’ve bought from them too.
ОтветитьHave you tried to roll and bend like civil war soldiers used to pack all fabric gear items, only that instead of over the shoulder like them, do it over the back pack and attached on the sides...? I did it with tents, hammocks, ponchos, floors, tarps, etc... with great results.
The pros of that are :
1. What goes outside in a camping, that can be wet and dirty remains outside, and eventually keeps on drying.
2. Enlarges the useful life of each fabric item by not wrapping or folding, and so provoking outworn spots like in maps.
3. Lives more room into the back pack.
4. Takes less time and effort to pack and unpack and camp and so on.
5. Makes easy reaching all those items (that I mentioned before) that you may need fast when stars raining suddenly, without haveing to open the pack.
Cheers dude... Martin from Argentina by the way...🇦🇷
Shock cord with the draw string clips are nice to tighten the pack up and minimize noise taking up the lose room for stuff the rattle and shake
ОтветитьI have an old cheap Cabela's backpacking pack from boyscouts. However the top of the straps where they attach to the pack are ripping from the outside edges on both straps. What is the best way to fix this? They're sewn directly into the back of the bag with not lip or anything to unfold and resew them to. I'm afraid to test the bag on a trip in case they fail while I am out, I guess I could do do circles around the car lol.
ОтветитьSolid bet on the dump pouches. Thanks for the idea.
ОтветитьI upgrade my pack my adding a 2L bladder and filling it with bourbon
ОтветитьThanks for sharing this video! I can see where a few of these upgrades I can definitely use!
ОтветитьGreat video, dude! We're also big proponents of the lightweight backpacking back and a scrim. Also, one of my favorite upgrades is our SlingHook. Obviously I'm biased, but it solved a huge problem for my and made carrying a rifle with a ruck that had load-lifters comfortable.
Ответить¿Qué mochila ocupas?
ОтветитьThanks for sharing. Can you review the watch.
ОтветитьThank you😺
Ответитьhow did you attach those dump pouches?
ОтветитьThank you Airman!
ОтветитьThanks for posting the links to all of your gear! Always looking at new stuff to replace or upgrade old gear.
ОтветитьGreat idea on the Dump Bags. Will copy that.
They rest re Good idea. Might copy them.
Even a day hike I carry to much chit and that just one Nalgene liter bottle
ОтветитьYoure real solid I finally subscribed. Thanks for all your ideas
ОтветитьGreat idea for the dump pouch’s. I’ve got a couple laying around not being used. I was going to give them away. Not now going straight on my ruck!
ОтветитьGrimlocks, friggin everywhere. I use a lot of hill people gear stuff, and their buttpack and kitbags hang nicely off of grimlocks. Also good for retaining nalgenes better than just the pocket, but still quick to get to.
ОтветитьWhat jacket are you wearing?
ОтветитьWhat backpack are you using in the video?
ОтветитьI haven't seen a ton of your video but every one of them have been awesome
ОтветитьI never herd of the dump pouch. definitely getting one. When im hiking i forage expecly for mushrooms and that would be great for that ty
ОтветитьBungee is a great tip! I'll have to try that.
ОтветитьI appreciate your ideas. Super excited to see what else you upgrade
Ответить👍💯👍💯👍💯👍💯👍💯👍💯👍💯👍💯👍💯👍💯👍!!!
ОтветитьI see your dump pouch and raise you a deployable SSE backpack.
ОтветитьBest gift ever
ОтветитьBrand new here. Do you have a video talking about that chest rig? Looks like a good setup!
ОтветитьI really dig that tip on the dump pouches for taters kindling as you hike!
ОтветитьWhen im mountaineering i sometimes pack a small daypack that i use for the summit push.
That way i still have emergency and food in much lighter pack.
Thanks for the videos.
The pack looks rounded. Does it sway when climbing over logs etc?
I love my hyperlite mountain gwar bag. Thing is a beast
