Good - and I'm guessing that the CPTPP's secretariat won't be wanting tens of billions of pounds, most of our fishing stocks and ever-increasing amounts of 'harmonisation' over non-trade areas?

Well done to the UK and the CPTPP for growing multilaterally .

Welcome the United Kingdom to the
CPTPP family.

UK is an economy with more than US$3trillion in GDP in 2021.

With the inclusion of the United Kingdom into the CPTTP arrangement, the size of the combined GDP of all 12 nations is about the Size of China's US $17.8trillion GDP for 2022.

The combined population of the CPTPP is about 600 million people.

CPTPP should hasten up the applications by Taiwan, Ecuador, Costa Rica and Uruguay who have formally submitted their applications. Taiwan with its leading technology in the semiconductors is a crucial and important additional to the CPTPP.
It give the CPTPP added relevance.

These countries will add another US$1.1 trillion and 50 million people
to the CPTPP.

Another important potential partner nation would be South Korea who
began its application to join the CPTPP in Dec 2021.
The South Korean are also strong in their Semiconductor industry and will add almost US$2trillion and 50 million people into the CPTTP.

The CPTPP certainly looks promising.

Probably make more sense for UK to join Euro. For added benefit, Nigel Firage can continue to stir crap in Brussel.

The European Union should apply to Join the CPTPP.

It will only provide what both parties
requires in a multi Polar World in the near future.

The current CPTPP members' collective Gross Domestic Product is about the Size of the EU.

A perfect fit for each other without the Giants like the US, China or India.

The CPTPP is the benchmark for global Trade Deals.

After the accession of the UK, Taiwan, South Korea should be accepted soonest possible.

Size does matter.

Why would a regional Pacific-Asian trading group accept a European member? Is this another distortion or lie? It seems that is all Brexiteers can do.

Congratulations for a GDP increase of 0.08% to replace the loss of 4 % due to Brexit. Maybe the food shortage will be solved after receiving tomatoes and fresh lettuce from Peru or Asia...😂 Is this Blondy really believing what she is talking about???

Oh, my god…….. doesn’t that woman realize the UK is all alone on the other side of the world. In the age of “climate change” long transport routes should be minimized not increased.
