yeah, lots of stuff comes from China plain and simple.wha happens is compaines will R&D a product and once they are happy the mass produce it, this means out sourcing to china or the like to get parts made then shipped to the US and assymbled . they will take your drawings and files then tweak them then sell it cheaper for a cheaper product

most things from Temu are made in the same place, the only difference is that we do not pay political taxes to the state for the goods 😉😂 the only difference is that there is no company name printed in the product. you can exactly buy a bosch drill in a different, cheaper packaging (just without the bosch name stamped into the drill) and both machines will be from the same factory 😉 ( this is insider knowledge and information😉)the things for an angle grinder (you must always be careful) no matter what kind of one you use, an angle grinder is NOT a toy. funny that people in the US need to know (as if they can't think for themselves)😂 us in other countries don't put our dogs and cats in a microwave oven to dry them (because they are wet) only stupid people do that😉the makita machine you show and the other (not makita) they are made in exactly the same place (they even come from the same factory) 😉😂the difference between them is that the cheap one is made as a sample (without all the fancy stuff on it) and today you get all that (fancy stuff on it), so there is no difference between them today. this looks more like advertising for the expensive things than a real review of the products (and just remember that at Temu you get your money back immediately if your products do not live up to it)

I think we all know that Temus products aren’t the quality of tradesman tools and most only use for the odd job.And that’s why it’s not worth spending $$$$ when u can buy a knock off for $ . 🤷🏽‍♂️you’re just stating the obvious.

When companies order products from China, they are usually presented with delivery options. One of those options is normally "Let us produce extra, and we'll give you 100% tested and working products for your entire order, but we get to keep and resell the leftovers locally" These "leftovers" are then sold to bulk resellers, who sell them on sites like Ali, Temu and Ebay etc.
This means that the "leftovers" can be resold cheap, but might have defects, cheaper materials etc.

I lost 400$ on Temu and endless ammount of time. I am still waiting before refile the dispute, temu said need to cancel in bank, so I cancel there, and where is my refund? I did what customer service of Temu ask me to do. Now I face the same automatic messages that it will take up to a few months. From the start I ask Temu to cancel this item because it was not looks good, the seller is not responsive and not able to correct description on site. From the start it was obvious if it will be some problems, the seller will no provide information of Warranty or repair. I received item but just start to use it and face the factory defect. Many things sold on Temu have below acceptable quality. I can remember almost all items bought here -all ended in a garbage can very fast. So, lets please refund it fast, because it was my money and because you not provide refund back in November, I am not buying a good quality welder from ebay. Now I dont see my 400$ for almost 3 months, and have absolutely useless piece of metal, which take the place to store.
here is information from Temu site. Its something new, when I bought the welder this informatiuon was not available:
Q: How can I track the progress of a dispute?
A: After you initiate a dispute, the financial institution will conduct an investigation. The dispute process can take several weeks to months. You can contact the financial institution handling the dispute for updates.
For a few month percent for any amount of money borrowed will be a pretty high.

Any weekend warrior who only uses occasionally would be an idiot not to save the money from Temu. When I was a contractor 40 ago. If I needed a new tool for a job that was specifically for that job,I would buy a cheap one from Harbor Freight to see if it was worth having. If useful I would then buy a real one. lol not like today where Harbor Freight actually has decent equipment. Youngsters have no idea how crappy they used to be 😂

Honestly it’s very interesting. Well done and I have also shared this video. We all know about it now the question is who is really doing the rip-off between both companies definitely the Chinese are copying from others but I will personally consider a rape of the prices or other company applying to their products, regardless how much research they have done for these items so the Chinese are ripping up by copying and selling rubbish quality. Sometimes our good quality depends there is all kind of categories with a Chinese manufacturer and also the Europeans the Americans and also Taiwan they also do rip-off by putting such a high prices regardless how good is the quality? No doubt I will definitely go for the better quality made in Japan made in Germany made in France made in Italy hundred percent but stillyou have to check when sales come because the real price it’s a rip-off as well

For them to get around the patents all they have to do is make their item a little different.. it's not illegal.. it's just a scumbag thing to do.
Possibly other items that are just as much a mirror of saying their a knock off, of other patents that only have something different that were probably first to be made.. that were not made out of plastic or aluminium.

Ответить
@FrankBlackcrow

The big.. but.. is, if you were staring out, or doing small projects, and that you didn't need to buy top of the range, or even to know what top of the range tools were there (the salesman would sell you for the $$$).. how much money would be saved.. I think that is the real question... a lot of people would buy the cheaper tools if their not expecting to use them all the time, from a non professional stand point.

If I went and looked at all the prices that were shown in this video.. I think that saved money would be used on other things.. like a shop vac.. that there is probably a knock off of one as well.

Great vids. Gotta say i know a thing or 2 about manufacturing and engineering cost. This day and age everything is way overpriced. Many products have rip off company many are big box store brand rip offs made at the same factory and sell for a fra tion and work just as well as the point of your video. So if i can buy essentially the same thing without the high cost and name brand on tbe tool im doin it s rew the big overpriced comoanies. Which brings me to this. Woodpeckers probably pays 20 for a pre ision square and sells for hundreds overseas tbe same thing sells for just over that including overseas shipping cost so you tell me who the idiots are. Stop paying high orices when you dont have too. Sorry for the rant

I use to design radiation detectors for Los Alamos National Labratory. At a conference I was visited by a group from China. They took all of the publications we had on our systems and took a lot of pictures. Later on we found they had started to manufacture a duplicate of our detectors. We had patients for it but was told we had no international patients. And that's how they do that.

I think that safety should be your first and second concern, that is to say.... Is this safe for me to use and is this safe for the people around me?
Sure, some of the genuine items are overpriced, but they are safety checked and of a much better quality. I would rather save up and buy a genuine item rather than risk my safety and the people around me. The T-Square and Glue Kit would be fine, but nothing that has the potential to injure is worth saving a little or a lot of money.
Take care and stay safe everyone,
Joe

For anyone who thought Temu’s automotive air filters (engine and cabin) look like a great bargain, there’s a reason they cost so little. We’ve ordered filters from them and every single one (for multiple vehicle makes) was not spec’d to the proper size (always were close but just a little off) allowing all the air flow to go around the edges of the filter - where there’s no restriction by filter media - totally unfiltered. Don’t bother with the auto filters a you’ll either damage your vehicle or waste your time returning them.
