they want a revolution? let them come!
we are just silent because, i think, it is rude to be loud like the left terrorists out there. and yes, they are terrorists, they deserve a bullet.
but if they come: empty the first mag, reload and keep shooting until they are gone!
i grew up in the east myself. i know how it is to live in a warzone. i am already aclimatisized, are they?

All well and good advice for a rational, thoughtful, intelligent audience. But if history has taught us anything, it's that rebellions, insurrections, revolutions, etc. are not generally started or carried out by rational, thoughtful or particularly intelligent actors, so there is no "long game" in their plan.
Even if we only agree that the "pipes must be replaced", the intelligentsia must step forward and take a leadership role to prevent the wanton destruction of the entire infrastructure and oversee the replacement operation in a manner that provides a workable solution without rendering the "house" uninhabitable.
Exactly how that should occur is up for debate, but I believe it is obvious that working within the prescribed "system" is futile.
Any argument that includes either "right" or "left" is not going to produce a solution. The right and the left are like family members in the Gambino Family. They may disagree amongst themselves, but their overarching business is running a criminal enterprise to our detriment. Only by eliminating the criminal enterprise itself can the rule of law regain a foothold for the rest of us. Unfortunately, the moneyed interests and the government are now so hopelessly intertwined that taking out one necessarily requires taking out the other, which would require "ripping out the plumbing" in one fell swoop, thereby taking us back to square one.
The USA is broken. If it were a car, it would be limping along on two bald tires, the engine knocking and smoking badly - but with a fantastic paint job. It may be time to just drop it in the crusher and start over.

Everything has a cycle. Things, places, people all begin change and end. America is no different. We will grow into something larger such as a empire or will be crushed by overpopulation or civil division or foreign power etc. We must stand for what we believe in and how we must become a example of what we want this country to become!

LMAO corporations aren't necessary. Nationalize that shit

Edit: regarding police, literally everytime I have interacted with police they haven't exactly helped me. Terrorism is a result of the system fucking around in other countries.

Have you noticed that if people want to destroy the employment systems sustaining them that suggests the system is not helping them but immiserating them en masse and making shit worse?

Edit: early USA did not have police. And clearly the existing elites have not fixed the problem after decades. Might as well burn it down. Recognize that our future will require made death and destruction. Don't blame me - blame those who fucked up things to that level.

I appreciate the perspective but fervently believe it's more dangerous to have such a sense of idealism that believes incrementalism and a pseudo democracy that is directly responsible for the death of millions due to an almost religious allegiance to capitalism. Only a mass extinction level event or violent and bloody uprising by an emboldened and socially aware working class will have any hope of balancing the inequality and injustice you unintentionally are promoting by this propaganda which ultimately defends a capitalist autocracy police state that is no different than Russia and China in its basic tenets. Americans can't handle reality though and I'd expect such a sophomoric statement made by a young 30s Boston College grad which is clearly supportive of neoliberalism and in denial that a war wages on all around their protective amazon prime government tap water supplied, indoctrinated mindset. You people have no concept of praxis and the actual historical context of revolution and leftist ideology. I'm not saying a vanguard or theoretical knowledge is tantamount for change, but you have basically created a piece of propaganda that does the exact opposite of being a catalyst for a revolution of the mind. Congratulations you are a diluted sycophant hiding behind an attempt at rational thinking and logic applied to a dangerous and chaotic world that willfully murders and exploits billions of people. Slow clap for modern American western ideology. You all deserve your complacent pathetic lives in which you're complicit in the most heinous atrocities you seek to defend and protect because you can go to Walmart and fill your 300 USD insulin rx. For me: Revolution means that a large gathering of people, decide to fight against and rebuild their government, for MUCH better, and/or for much worse...
An example of revolution doing good; Kids not getting forced to do hard labour in factories anymore, work schedules being changed to better accomadate for sleeping hours - of course, this hasn't happened yet or will happen at all nationally in the states... since they still have the school bus system, mostly for the worse...
An example of revolution doing bad; The chinese communist party, woke people redefining the word truth to "their truth" in a way which censors the voices of many because "their truth" doesn't agree with "their truth" and is an unnecessary way of dividing everyone on what the true object truth is... when there's FUCKING global warming & many other bigger issues going on and we need a decision to be made for the betterment of society...

The UK's revolutions were so bloodless that we barely even think of them as revolutions. Thinking about it, Japan's meiji revolution was pretty bloodless too tbh. The revolutions of 1989 that brought an end to communism seem pretty bloodless too. So I don't think the USA is the only country with such a positive view of revolution.
I'd say revolution should be a more neutral term. Although it is usually bloody and rarely achieves what it sets out to achieve, it sometimes accomplishes positive change with relatively little harm.

What a supremely inspiring video.. One lesson I really get from this is we need to rely on each other more to survive and not destroy. We feel like we are stuck on a loop of nothing changing, things can change just open ur heart and make moves to do so. Little by little you'll find others like you who want to change the world in a good way little by little.

So all the baby formulas taken away from American Babies and being given to the babies of Illegal Aliens means what according to what you are saying. Who is taking all the baby formula and giving it to NON-Citizens? Who is stopping all production of oil and gas so "farmers will be FORCED to go green"? Who used arson to burn down all our food supply warehouses and one plane being flown into the largest warehouse 18 in less than a year? No media , no federal investigation. "Now all the farmers will be forced to go green" same answer to both questions by the same people. Now no media on all the damage and deaths due to the vaccines. The documents won in a trial now prove THEY KNEW all this and what did they do? Mandated the vaccine knowing what would happen even to children. So now what? It is obvious they want to kill babies starve us and our children and or kill up with a dangerous vaccine. Who's doing all this death and destruction? What do we do about it?

France here, two years later.

This video is still relevant and it's slightly disheartening. As for the kind of revolutions we know over here, it's the decades of the perceived tyranny of a dying power coming to a head. In our country's example you can make a damn good argument that the dying power was very much tyrannical, but the tyranny needs only be perceived to work. In that sense I am less harsh on revolutions than my fellow frenchman in the video. The French Revolution had to happen, as one power died and another came into power, and the people being ruled by a power doesn't change either because it's just another power replacing it. The problem is that a revolution inherently destroys society, at least for a little while, and emotions run high. To the french people in 1789, it probably felt like kings were eternal, there was always a king and there always will be. But right there they deposed the king, tried him, and eventually killed him. It's like killing something eternal, like breaking down a wall you thought indestructible, what other self-evident truths can you destroy? And why shouldn't you destroy them? In a way, you just killed and destroyed common sense and prudence, what's left to stop you? And there are plenty of hopes, rage, and old grudges to go around and paint a target on everybody's back.

So yeah, the revolution we know of over here didn't end in the best way. And each time the yoke of the oppressor was thrown off, you can see people going absolutely apesh!t. But that revolution was absolutely necessary, and it started for all the right reasons. And when the government starts feeling so alien and disconnected from its population that it starts feeling like an oppressive foreign power, you can bet the revolution is coming back. And sometimes it feels necessary. When you know you can't continue in a certain direction and nothing to change the way things are going works, what else is left? A lot of innocent blood will be spilled to try a king, but that's the only way we know of to try kings.

Yes! Exactly well said UEG. In order for a revolution to work there has to be an actual plan. A plan to replace and fix whatever was broken with something better that works.
Without that, all revolutions or even rebellions are mass scale rioting leading to anarchy or devastating damage to the economy, food and goods supply and a power vaccum that will get filled with something probably worse.
The communist revolutions are a good example of good intentions exploited, circumvented and things just being worse.

Revolution from the perspective of the West: "We put our own people in charge, and we build a Utopia for everybody!"

Revolution from the perspective of those who've fled it: "Horrible."

Revolution from the perspective of Revolutionaries: "We put our own people in charge, and we build a Utopia for everybody!"

Somedays, I wonder... What morale framework are we operating from? Religious people have an answer, and I feel our Founding Fathers knew this moment would come, and ultimately in a moment like this we need to stop; and look to the Constitution, because we're drifting from the experiment.

This absolutely needs more views. There's been countries who have engaged in revolution for actually undeniably good reasons a la the classic "Dictator killing people unjustly" fare and it absolutely devastated their country. Not only is the dictator still there, but their home is all but completely leveled. No supply networks, no clean water, just rubble and corpses. It's haunting and urges patience and thinking with a cool head. We have a system in place and I absolutely do not believe we're using it to the fullest extent. You can't shoot out a couple tweets and show up to a protest on a Saturday and think you've done enough then despair when the change you wanted to see didn't happen. There's a lot more work involved than that and it is in every single way far easier an endeavor than fighting on your own doorstep. In every single way.

It'll get in through your pores, lungs, eyes, nose, mouth, holy fuck. After I started waking up tasting metal and everything hurt and I was always sick to my stomach and I looked into it myself and realized I had lead poisoning. Pretty bad too. My hair got thinner even. They never trained me so they could save maybe 1 hour of working, I complained and they showed a video 2 days later but I quit. There wasn't any way I could get better unless I got away from the lead. I was pretty pissed off but didn't go destroying the machines and assaulting my boss. Fuck man.

@AiluridaeAureus
@AiluridaeAureus - 21.03.2023 12:30

The simple fact is, Americans don't know what a revolution is, or what a civil war is. 1776 was not a revolution. It was a rebellion. They did not overthrow the British Empire and shatter it apart. They delayed and attritioned Britain until it was cheaper and easier to let America go than keep fighting for the tax revenue of one colony. Secession is not revolution. It's also why the Confederate scum trying to secede was neither a "Civil War", nor was it the "Second American Revolutionary War".

No matter how much the greedy elite and ideologues tried to twist the facts, the CSA was not fighting to reinstitute the abhorrent practice of slavery in the North by overthrowing it's government. They were trying to leave the Union. Again, secession is not revolution. If secession is revolution, the war against the CSA was the Second American Civil War (third if you count the Whiskey Rebellion), and the Union wasn't much better than the British. But secession isn't revolution, and secession isn't civil war. The CSA did not think they were the Union, they were not trying to be the Union. There has never been a civil war on American soil.

You know what is an example of civil war? The Russian Civil War, or the Spanish Civil War. The Bolsheviks thought they were "the real Russia", the Imperial White Army thought they were "the real Russia", they were fighting over who was allowed to be the legitimate government of Russia. So was Spain. The Republicans and Nationalists both thought they were "the real righteous Spanish government", and fought over who controlled Spain.

As an American who loves history and learning about it the time period that is grossly overlooked by schools and people in general is the aftermath of the American revolution because that is precisely what made the nation we have today, because the founders understood that they needed to build a nation from very little knowledge about what kind of government they were building and it was a work in progress and still isa work in progress.
