Would one inch foam work for the bucket head? I’ve been told to use .5 inch foam, but the foam I just got is 1 inch, and it’s the only thickness I have that’s enough for me to make a bucket head.

Can you feasibly do this without owning a bust? Or on one of those cheapo busts that tutorials say not to use? I really don't want to pay $90 for a bust I will use one time
